So lovely seeing flowers and greenery and happy animals. It is all melting snow in Vancouver, Canada right now. The only creatures I see are the crows and the cat from across the street😄
Wow, seeing Manchu, one of the oldest like Chucky and Wally, warms my heart because he and Wally are the senior chippies still with us last year. I feel that Wally may not come back this year given that she went to sleep too early so that means less food stored to tide her over. I wonder if Manchu will come back this year. I miss the old group especially my favorite, Chucky.
I have recently subscribed your Channel because it's about Choo Choo the Chipmunk, apparently there are lots of Chipmunks 🐿️ near our house out of which one of the Chipmunk turned out to be very very Friendly so I call me Mr/Miss Mani....he/she couldn't identify the gender because Mani is of same size like Choo Choo. Mani is so Happy 😁😁 whenever I keep some Food like Biscuits, Snacks for them, placed among the Barks of Tree. The day I forget Mani the Chipmunk 🐿️ will come and remind. I am still learning to observe them. Very Friendly, Super excited and Super Happy Creatures (Chipmunks 🐿️) of Mother Earth 🌎🌍😊😊😊😊😊 Thankyou so much for creating this Channel ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
어이구 제이가 날개를 다쳤었네 ㅠㅠ 그래서 이번 겨울 멀리 안가고 츄랜드에서 머물기로 했었나?? 이제쯤 얼추 다 나았으려나.... 만추도 보니 무척이나 반갑다. 근데...9월에 벌써 겨울잠을 자러 가기도 하나요? 10월도 빠르다 했었는데... 활동하는 시기가 검나 짧네요.
I love that Aram who would chase away other chipmunks, let's her daughter Ally come up to eat together. She knows she should teach her daughter to care for giving space to the top ranking chipmunks, but Ally is her precious daughter even after she's grown up. 😅 💖
Is Ally the daughter to Aram? They were sharing the food nicely. 😊 Thank you for all of your work both caring for these special friends and letting us watch. I didn’t have any pets as a child so I befriended the chipmunks in our yard. I would hold out food like strawberry or corn on the cob and one or two chipmunks would eat while I held the doos out. Even with those experiences, I have learned so much more about these adorable chipmunks observing your interactions and sharing about their behavior. Thank you, again!
It looks like Jay doesn’t have any problems flying which is good. I don’t know how you get him to come that close to you. The bluejays here are extremely skittish and afraid, even when I put food out for them and the squirrels. 😊❤️🐿🐦⬛

You czn always count on Manchu to get first in line for any fresh bowl of food,no matter who its intended for.and Aram and Ally just bump noses in their race to beat each other in filling their pouches!All so lucky to have you as a reliable source of their smorgasbord, in a safe place.Think maybe Jay could have been in a dispute over territory?or a narrow escape from some potential predator;or even a domestic cat?Happily the feather was replaceable and not a pin feather; didn't seem to effecthis abilities of flight any. I wonder why Manchu is out so late in the season. Adam and Ally are still.out also. So nice to see them. I noticed that Jay is a slightly different color than Joe. So that helps so I can now tell them apart when Jay's feather is better. 💗🌹
저도 오랜만에 보는 만추가 너무나 반가워 드물게 글을 남깁니다. 어릴 적 마리당 천원이라는 그 시절에는 무척이나 묵직했던 용돈벌이로 잡아다 넘긴 죄책감이 고달팠던 우리 교민들의 초기 이민사를 떠올리게 해서 더 귀하게 영상을 보곤 합니다. 그 때문에 영상에서 등장하는 아이들이 한반도 고유종인 두 줄 무늬 땅다람쥐로 생각했는데, 인터넷을 들춰보니 북아메리카에 서식하는 동부다람쥐도 같은 생김새입니다. 추추님이 거주하시는 곳을 살피면 역시 동부다람쥐인지 문득 궁금합니다.
Mine is still feeding in January, she hibernated for maybe a whole week and we had a little mild spell and she came out and hasn't gone back in.....yet LOL.
Chipmunks are quite the diggers aren't they, they have hidey holes everywhere,lol. It would be all about the timing for Jay when it comes to removing that feather, I bet you wished you could help her (maybe someday Jay will let you be close, I'm hoping so). At least he can still fly a bit. That will enable him to escape predators. Fighter pilots learn to be aware of what's in front, behind, on either side of them, and above and below them. So must this gorgeous blue jay, who is a wiser bird today.
Looks to me there was scuffle between males or he was attacked and got away in the nick of time. He's not hurt (maybe his vanity) and flys just fine. The feather will drop when molting occurs.

there are probably hawks in the area. we saw a few try to attack (and fail mostly) blue jays and mourning doves in our yard.
