Yep every NES console I bought required some maintenance to get it working. But this past weekend I bought 3 NES consoles at 3 seperate yard sales and every single game worked in each one with no issues. No cleaning the contacts, no making sure its a tight fit, just all 3 fired up and played all the games. Even the controllers worked perfectly. For some reason I still want to open up the controller and NES and clean them, making more work for myself and potentially more problems. Do you find yourself doing that too? Or as long as it works off the bat, you just leave as is and sale it?
Nice pickups! It’s pretty rare to find one that doesn’t need any upkeep. I’ll give the outter shell a good wipe down but If it ain’t broke don’t fix it ya know?
as soon as he said $10 for the gameboy i was saying hell of a deal! then he turned it around and said it comes with pokemon blue i about fainted lmao great freaking score!
Man its just kinda nuts all the stuff you find but it’s the amount of time you put into it for sure! Great stuff man! I would like to find a gbp for sure!
Disable the pin inside the nes that makes the blinking happen, there's videos here on yt showing how to disable the nes lockout chip, it's simple to do, don't bother replacing the pin connector cause they're usually way too tight and can damage the games contacts. A good cleaning with rubbing alcohol on the games until the qtip wipes clean, and then soak a game and work the connector in the console, clean the carts pins, rewet it and do it until the games comes out of the nes clean. Ive never had to replace a connector to get an nes to work. I dont sell them either, im just the guy in my group of friends who does this and the first person they ask to get it done.
Awesome video as always, man! A question. A lot of collectors are really into CRT's. I remember you had the Sharp NES TV. Do you have any other TVs like PVMs etc?
I actually had 2 sharp nes TVs and I ended up selling them both. I would love to get a PVM someday but I just don’t have anywhere to put the thing, I’m so tapped on space 😞
Follow me on instagram to see all of my pickups before the footage comes to TH-cam! 😁
"It also comes with Pokémon blue" Gotta love hearing that!

Where could I purchase a NES test cartridge that was shown in your video?
Not sure, try making some ISO posts in Facebook groups maybe?
How do find good deals on video games in facebook marketplace? How do you do it?
Another day another hunt

Hey Jordan, do you have a discord? If so, do you give advice on creating content? I feel like it's getting better, but I want to step my game up.
Never replace your 72 pin just readjust the factory one aftermarket ones are horrible
I've put in soooo much time and effort into fixing my NES but that blinking light won't stop. Any advice?
Refurbish the 72 pin connector.
@@CollectorsLuck how? I've tried so many ways. Bought a replacement. Still not fixed
