You are seriously lucky. There is so much competition here in CT that it is near impossible to get any scores lately. Even when you have one lined up, they cancel because someone messaged them offering 5x their listing price.
Same here in Orlando. I saw a garage sale on Facebook marketplace. They had a Wii U, games, and a New 3DS XL Galaxy with games. We agreed on $225 (the 3DS alone is worth that.) Probably around $500-600 worth of stuff, could have easily made $300 on it all. Drove 30 min to get it. I was literally pulling up to the house and they messaged me saying it sold (they said no holds originally.) So they either legitimately sold it, or someone messaged them saying if they hold it they’ll give them more. I should have did that. Oh well, that’s part of the hunt. Sometimes things fall through. But it’s super aggressive here in Orlando. Either people swoop up the deals, or people all want full value or higher for all of their things. Deals are few and far between.
