Guys the quality of the leather on the Maserati is way better than the one in the BMW! Like the carbon and the wood. You doesn’t have a full screen on the speedometer but hands are awesome to see and you have a car with a lot of personality and a damn good chassis and suspension. Let’s get informed before talking, this is an incredible car

Exterior looks nice, especially in that color. Seats look nice also. I would prefer a nicer looking steering wheel, dash, and the design of the infotainment screen
I drove a Maserati ghibli (cheapest model it was around 88k I think) back in 2014 for a few weeks. I hated it, felt terrible and the interior felt/looked soooo cheap. It’s 2020 and that hasn’t changed by the look of it.
I bought a Levante sq4. Test drove also the following: glc 43 amg coupe, Macan gts techart, cayenne gts. My last 2 cars were Mercedes and often broke down. Porsche and Mercedes has nice interior but the Maserati felt quite special to me- to anybody criticizing this car please go to a Maserati dealership and talk to the staff and take one for a spin. It may has no ambient lights or a full digital instrument cluster but it is one of the few modern cars that have some soul in it. Btw rn they ware stopped producing and the new model will be electrified. They won’t get cheaper than now :-)
I wonder what the hell qualifies as a budget sedan for you. Sure, the Maserati is overpriced, but still, most true "budget sedans" are lucky enough to get leather seats...

Imagine buying this car just for it to be worthless in a year or 2, it will more than likely break making the Porsche a much better buy. Also, that interior is not great at all for the price looks to Chrysler which is the problem and everyone knows their absolute junkers. But it looks like a fun car to drive if it is a lease.
My point is they might be fun and sound amazing but the price is hard to justify for the type of interior you get. Also depreciation is such a big factor when you factor in ownership cost. If I am spending over 100k I want something that might hold some value 4 to 5 years down the road.

Man, such a great car. Was about to buy one for $45,000 and was on dealer's Web site. Then I started watching this video and when this video ended car's price was down to $40,000. I saw that as a red flag and didn't pull the trigger.

Italians know how to design beautiful car interiors (and exteriors btw) like no other. Everything is gorgeous, every small detail. It's a pitty they are not up to par in other things then...like electronics, reliability etc For example the infotainment system looks like crap compared with today's german offers...
my problem (if you could call it that) with these maserati cars has always been that the interiors are just not quality enough for the price point. infotainment screens, the colours, some of the touch points are not upto the standards of what they're charging for it. not that i could afford one anyway, but its just a shame knowing these cars could be so much better.
