Before or after watching this video, you may want to carefully read the scriptural text and look for similarities and differences between the text and video. Consider asking questions such as the following: What parts of the scripture and video clip were the same? Which parts were different? Why do you think the movie directors made the decisions they did? How would you film this scene differently? What does the video add to your feelings and understanding about this scene?

@alisajolivette3069 i would love to connect with you
I know the Book of Mormon is the pure word of God, a witness and a warning specifically for our day, abd the D&C is direction specifically for this dispensation, but i grew up a Catholic and i loved hearing the Gospels read out at Mass so much that i read the new testament on my own, even though Catholicism doesn't stress reading the Bible. The Chosen calls forth that lifelong love, though im not sure i want to watch the crucifixion. I find that and the last part of the book of Mormon horrifying, though i know they are both gifts of infinite love.
That a man as loving as Moroni is had to lose his father, his community, his nation, the way he did is something painful to ponder. I know he is in paradise now, and he must look on President Nelson and the Twelve with great joy and comfort. That makes me feel better. 🙂
I’ve always loved that Moroni is the one who spoke with Joseph Smith and taught him and told him where he could find the golden plates. I like to think that Moroni is still active in the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have so much to be grateful for.
@stacyhuss9454 this is true, but it's also true that if so many of us weren't so horrible, the rest of us would have even more to be grateful for. I don't hate the Adversary or his followers, but I don't pretend they aren't there and that they don't have an effect. I'm trying to understand how our Heavenly parents and the Savior deal with that. ( I'm guessing it's more than just being grateful for other things.) I'll bet that a third of your mortal siblings aren't bent on destroying everything your parents love, built and possess, including their and their children's lives. I'm SO not a fan of that.
lol. Sure.
