Tons of fun and fuel that ate most of my money
FITTING SPOTLIGHTS TO YOUR LIKE BIKE. Underneath the handlebars you will, hopefully, locate a segmented- hole designed to mount a windshield on your "hawg". Given that the threaded bolt (welded on the handlebars) has a 8mm thread, which has enough strength to hold a windshield AND spotlights. I use a 40cm strip spotlight, which is enough to impress bus and truck drivers to respect you. I power it from the "passing" position of the headlight switch and carefully pass the wire up through the left-hand bolt hole.
TURN SIGNALS CAN BE PAIN The LIKE turn signals are a pain, as you tend to forget them after you have turned. You can fit BEEPERS across the light feed (one for each side is easiest) so when you signal the bike BEEPS. AUTO OFF TURN SIGNALS I, being an electronics technician, went further. I fitted small single IC timers that switch the turn light off after 20 seconds. You can also use a pick-up from the speedo cable that will sense when you are moving and use this to switch a timer off. I modified the turn signal switch so it is "non-locking" (in right or left positions). MUSIC TO YOUR EARS (100 WATTS) In VietNam, where I live, it is illegal to use earpieces (although no one really cares) so I went to my favourite seat manufacturer and I built a 5-inch speaker into the point (front) of the seat. It makes the front profile of the seat less pointed and slightly larger around. It has a 100 watt D-class amplifier driving it. D-Class is very efficient. (If you are ever on the Central Highlands of VietNam, in the less populated areas and hear '60 & '70s music that is likely me.)
I recently bought a kymco Like 200cc model 2010 ... and I was scared with the front part ... the front part of the scooter is very fake ...I was honestly very scared....maybe the tires of the wheels need to be changed ?? any other idea???

That front fender trim is a bad idea held on by pinch bolts that could easily shake loose. The consequence of that trim falling loose into the path of the scooter and getting caught in a wheel doesnt bear thinking about.
TRIMS These Kymco trim items are NOT STRONG - more flash than function. My LIKE is a work bike, I put about 5,000 kilometres on it every month. BEEFY TRIMS I stalled Stainless Steel (Inox) trims - custom made - by putting a pair of 2mm thick flat stainless bars across the width under the mat. I added rubber padding the width of the bars so flattish "floor" is maintained. My side trim "pipes" are welded to the ends of the crossbars. The bars are ended forwards and around the front of the "mud flap". From the tip of the trim, running over the mud flap and extended through the air vent is another stainless pipe that picks up it's support from the frame. The rear of the side "trim pipes" is extended around the rear of the body panels with a trim pipe running up to the bracket located behind the seat. The trim pipes have "joint pieces" wherever the vertical trim pipes meet. The side trim pipes are welded to the cross members under the "floor". LIGHT UP YOUR SEAT If you want "flash", go to an electronics dealer and buy flexible LED strip and using silicone glue, force fit the strip, which has a vertical profile with a rounded side, between the side cover and the sealing strip under the seat. Feed the power through the hinge of the seat. I used programmable strip so the sides are steady yellow and the rear is red. When I use my turn signal, that half of the LED turns from yellow to bright white.
