The theodosian walls should be a monument that grants you immunity to being assaulted or something like that. Or at least have something special like in the CK games.
Neat idea, but from a historical RP point of view there are two issues: by the eu4 period they where certainly not stopping assaults, and secondly by the eu4 period with cannons existing they kind of became cosmetic

After messing around for way too long trying to recover the save I instead failed and managed to fully corrupt it. Hence the dreams of the Part 2 die there too.
If my math is correct, all of the modifiers that you listed in the last video, along with the corrections here, would also give you a +215% fort defense nationwide, so each siege tick would be 94 days
... its actually even sadder, as it wasn't an alliance, but membership of trade league. Byzantium gave up a significant chunk of their independence and wealth.
@@LemonCake101 OTOH The trade league membership meant they got to get out of the cycle of several years of being besieged by the ottomans then paying the ottomans money to go away for a while, inevitably returning several years later. I don't think that's an unreasonable trade to make. If you're gonna have to pay someone off, probably nice to not have to clean up hundreds of thousands of dead soldiers every decade.

I thought these videos would realistically show how to do things, like actual achievable results but these are all random math plays about the kind of numbers we would never see lining up together in practical terms. I don’t see the point to this.
well, the point is to see the highest possible count, and hey its made to be technically doable. The issue with routing something that's 'achievable' is the standards to which I have to adhere too: what is considered 'doable'. If its a situation where I have access to alternatives, say with Admin Efficiency, I end up optimizing for the easier stuff to go for, but for something open ended like Fort Defense, well its mainly there to see how high number can go.

That’s the thing with Eu4 armies, the early game ones are either too large or too small, and late game stacks suffer the same issue.
We need maximum attrition for enemies next!
Just play as russia with defensive ideas and you won't even need to stack it for it to be effective
