From the base to the bottom of the 6” clamp is 12” if I wind it all the way out the total distance is 19.5” the sides that sandwich the tube to secure it is 1 3/16”
@@BROTUNED Thank you very much!! That's what I needed to know!! I am going to change the spring of my Norica and I will try to make it similar ... Thanks for your help. Greetings from Spain
simple and easy, I like it. Going to make something like this soon since I have a beefier spring on the way for my Crosmam Phantom .22cal. Mind giving me the length of that?
RINGET421 Thanks, Rainy day here so went and took your basic idea. Cut a 2 foot fence board, a 3 inch piece of 2x4 for the stop and (2) 2"x5" pieces for the guides and just screwed it into the fence board. Done! Easier than I thought. Now my spring can hurry up and get here :)
ya its a very simple design and works very well. you don't need to secure it with a piece of rope , strap, or para cord but i do recommend it. nothing would suck more than a heavy spring lodge into the forehead or something.
Just found your channel searching for spring compressor ideas. New subscriber here!

Thank you from Lincolnshire, England. Built my version of your spring compressor worked a treat.
Awesome to hear! Glad it worked out for you makes it so much easier
How do you screw the end cap back on when under pressure
Mine has pins that go through the body nothing screws on the back
@BROTUNED that's what I saying say it was a 80 or 95 how would you screw the end block on or can't you
You’d have to get creative and design and test a way to hold the rifle with the rear threads exposed while holding the tension
I just did mine thanks again. I love air springs in town good hobby less noise...!
And still get the practice to make you a better shooter. It’s a great tool for sure
Hi nice one, length of the board please.
The full length is 22” that’s including the upright
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Now to get the courage to actually take my rifle apart.
Not very hard I just recorded a video going through my air hawk start to finish. Video is going live next Sunday at 7
Hello, how many inches is the sergeant or clamp? I mean your size. Thank you

@@BROTUNED Entonces el sargento es de 6 pulgadas???
Yes it was a 6” clamp 🗜 and I cut off the bottom clamping surface to give it room for the air rifle to be compressed
