My favorite neck pickup now is an artec TFA 65 which is a copy of a Seymour Duncan fat Pole

My neck needed a 1/20" shim. Its a fault built into these, the neck heel is too thin for the depth they cut the pocket in the body.
The neck pickup sounds way better with the cover off or with a correct height cover. The one on it is too tall, there's about 3/32" of black silicone squished in between the tops of the pole magnets and the inside surface of the cover.
It takes FF for_ever to correct their documented mistakes.
