Thank you so much for this review !! I was thinking about getting this for my baby but I wasn’t sure because it didn’t look like the traditional tub....your video gave me some security☺️
Hi- I have a standard double kitchen sink and I have one end off the edge of the sink on a no-slip rubber mat and the other end is rest on the middle sink divider- does this make sense? So that all the water goes down into the sink
Oh no!!! Well, newborns tend to hate bath time in general because it involves getting undressed and being cold and they are not a fan of that. When our baby was newborn, we would place this baby bathtub into the big bathtub and put warm water in the big bath tub that would come up and baby would rest in the water through the holes in the angel tub’s mesh lining. Does that make sense? Just trying to help
@@ThisMomLovesIt Yes thanks! That is actually what we did, but he did have his nappy changed moments before so he was already stressed. Currently our midwife has said not to get his belly button wet as its healing, so we are unable to place that wet flannel on his chest. We are going to wait another week and try again :-)
Thanks for this video. My baby is 3 months old. I don’t have a large sink which means I have to sit in our tub with him or lean over to give him a bath. I find it difficult to clean the back and his tushy. Any suggestions on that ?

Would you be able to share where you got the rubber mat? 😊

No, he was about 4 months old in this video 😊
@@ThisMomLovesIt Ok thanks, we just tried it with our newborn (8 days old) and he had a full meltdown, really hated it :-(

I don’t know if this helps but my husband holds her up in the sink while I wash her- no baby bath needed and our small sink works fine :)
How do wash the back?
I kind of lean him up with one hand and wash his back with the other and then lay him back down
