Thankful for these videos today. My partner and I are renovating a theater, and the seats feel special. They aren't this old, but I still feel very prepared to dismantle and reupholster them. Thanks for the lessons about taping screws, labeling the front, and how to properly staple upholstery edges. I have a feeling doing 100 seats without a pneumatic long nose staple gun would be misery. Time to shop for a small air compressor solution!
Thanks, Kevin. Was grateful to see you reworking the corners of this seat cushion. On the day this video came out, I had reworked a seemingly simple chair seat twice just because it wasn’t perfect. We do always need to be pickier than the customer, another great Kevin quote !
That was really a workout! It’s amazing how a seemingly simple corner or two can cause such difficulty; I worry that if I encounter such a thing how would I cope being a beginner?

Is it better to use the faux horsehair instead of high density foam?
