I love these videos! Not only do I learn so much but it also like attending a comedy skit 😂😂 14:26 in “ I’m smelling it….I actually smell theatre…”. This stuff is GOLD

I have a theater chair I am trying to fix. It's typical foldup, but I put too much weight on the end of it while sitting on it and sprung something inside so that it doesn't stop in the proper position but slopes downward when fully folded down. The works are indeed of the seat, buy for the life of me I cannot figure out how to get it open. There are no screws holding it together. It looks like two sheet metal shells that somehow got pressed together. I am afraid that if I try to pry them apart that I am going to damage something even more. Any advice as to how to proceed? Thanks.

Unique project, and so delighted to see how components are arranged & put together. Is mohair still a desirable fabric in upholstery this day & age?

Someone may have watched Gone With The Wind, Casablanca etc sitting in that chair. Watched newsreels from WWII..Cant replicate that history in new furniture
