but then it will compelling people to buy the battle pass as nessesity. I think the way the battle pass work is quite fair. you buy it if you want the weapon, everything else is basically extra. if you want more pull, you buy the 30 day login. at current state, the battle pass is very friendly to f2p players, because they wont feel compelled to buy it
@@LostWallet I understand what you mean, but as an example they could remove de lustrous tides from the payed BP and add them to the free one. But the fact that it's not mandatory, is actualy a plus for sure

The battle pass is fine. It's a heavily time-gated but consistent modular gearing system. It has good value in terms of the combined rewards for maxing.
In WuWa however, because there's zero risk in failing a 50/50 for a five star weapon, rather than spend money on 5 battle passes for a tier 5 weapon... spend that money on rolling for a limited weapon.
The event banner weapons are great, but you need much more ressources to pull it off, or get really lucky. The BP one is garanteed as long as you play daily. Getting a weapon from the banner with 10€ is hard, but possible nonetheless :D
@@itscellfish There's a LOT of value. You get a 4 star selector, and these are not requiring farming materials to make, they are merely time gated.
You get 5 limited character pulls, enough astrites for 4 pulls of any banner, 2 standard banner pulls, 7 solvent... for $10 the value is exponential.
If people looked at it as a bundle, it would be much more enticing. If you're going to spend I would say it's somewhat on par with the subscription.

I never see any value in battle passes. Not in Genshin, not in star rail and not in Wuwa. When the subscription is such good value they need to do much better for me to consider a battle pass. It's not relevant when you start and it's even less relevant later. It is just for impatient people and offers very little of substance.
The BP can't be game changer or people would call it pay to win. It's just so who wants to spend, gets something in return. It's still worth the buck, just not as much as the subscription.
It's a consistent way to get tier 5 weapons. That is all it needs to be and it's what makes it great. It takes time, but in many cases they are invaluable to a lot of players.
@@jumpkicking Tier 5? You mean take the battle pass 5 times for the same 4 star weapon? The bp weapons tend to be only slightly better than the purple ones you will get from just rolling on gacha and worse than any 5 star. And you can't even max it instantly, you need 5 months to max it. 50 euro for that? Sounds like a god awful deal to me. I might be crazy but i would spend 50 euro to get 3 or 4 discounted games on steam.
