Should you buy the GH6 in 2024? That's a great question and one we'll break down in this video. Basically, any camera that has come out in the last few years can give you incredible results. So why this Micro Four Thirds camera?
Honestly, the GH6 is my favorite camera to shoot on even though I own an S5iiX. The ergonomics are superior. The flip out LCD screen is something I wish the S5iiX had. I love to have some extra function buttons and the ability to get 4k120 footage. The Panasonic Lumix GH6 also can record just about every single codec you could want internally which makes it super simple to use with no extra rigging. Basically the only downside is the lack of Phase Detect autofocus, but I can live with that. For me, this is an exceptional B cam.
I've been seeing some Open Box deals from B&H for $1,200 bucks. At this price this camera really is a no brainer. There isn't another camera out there that gives you everything that the GH6 does for this price.
If you're new to videographer and want to get the best budget camera this really might be it.
