Midoriya actually receives alot of hate online for being too 'emotional'. Which is so annoying because he's literally a teenage boy who got bullied and shamed his whole life by others for being quirkless, then suddenly inheriting a quirk that literally injures him everytime he uses it. People just want all protagonists to be edgy, overpowered or emotionless. Midoriya is one of my favourite protagonists in anime, he portrays heroism so well.

Honestly Midoriya received a lot of hate because he is a really sensitive protagonist unlike other shonen anime but i think that's why i like him that much, i love that the series remind you continuosly that they still being 15/16 years old teenagers that keep growing throught the series. The sexualitation of the characters is something that makes me a bit uncomfortable too but in general is a great series. I hope you keep enjoying it as much as i did! Your chanel deserves a lot more recognition, don't worry we'll keep growing :)

Let's be honest, in anime there will always be fan service but at least in this case with Yaoyorozu it's because of her power.

Mineta's costume is supposed to be a bowl, with his hair as a bunch of grapes. His eventual hero name emphasizes that.

9:50 - this is legit hilarious in hindsight. In pretty much every manga poll besides the first, Bakugo has placed first in popularity. Horikoshi really didn't think so many people would like him so much because of his brash attitude.... and even against Todoroki and Midoriya, Bakugo just ended up with more and more of the votes, like sometimes there's a massive jump between first and second.

Handyman there is my favourite character in the series. Peak husbando material IMO.
But... it took quite some time for me to feel that way about him. Was Bakugo obsessed for a few years, I mean he's still my second favourite character in the series at the very least. Keep an eye out for parallels going forward; it's why I love the villains in MHA.

I can't wait for more reactions! Aizawa certainly surprised me when I first watched these episodes, too. And since you were all asking, the hands on that villain's body will be explained in later seasons. I forgot how much foreshadowing is in this arc... You are all in for a great ride.
Also, I agree the fanservice can be a bit much. Although they are kids, 13 used to be the legal age of consent in Japan and they recently just changed it to the whopping age of 16! (oh my). So I guess it's expected that high schoolers can be objectified in their eyes. Still weird to me, though.

12:40 Separately, I fixated the hell out of Kendrick vs Drake - listened to Euphoria, Meet the Grahams and Not Like Us countless times by now.
Honestly, I didn't like Midoriya at first and it's not because he's emotional, actually I didn't mind about that but I didn't like his character until season 4. For Bakugo it was the same, I didn't pay attention to him until season 3 so when I started reading the manga I was like "Wait, how come I did not notice that?" so I watched the show again and saw a lot of things about him that I didn't notice before. Now those two and Todoroki are my babies ahshshs.
Ah yes, ep 10 & 11: Aizawa becoming my fav and showcasing how he truly will put his life on the line for his students.
Edit: Funnily enough, my second fave is Shigaraki lmao. Interested to see how y'all will take future seasons bc of it.
And there's a lot of fanfic with the idea that Mineta (the purple grape ball-headed kid) doesn't exist lmao, or is replaced by a different student. I appreciate most of the fandom essentially revoking his character lol.
