    i still prefer xiaomi simple design compared to oneplus. and the Leica color science is something that you can't get with other manufacturer.

    The thing i love about xiaomi is the customisation of camera and form factor, Also battery initially drains faster but after few days i feel it is really solid, even the standby time drain is also decent enough. I really like some of the camera features like manual mode it really took very good picture compare to point and shoot but you need some patience to experiment which settings works for you. I really love using xiaomi 14

    That was interesting take with well made points. For me what I like is the size. I also prefer a flat display. What I really don't like though is this new trend of the straight sides/edges and then this micro-curved display. I tried it on the Xiaomi 14 pro and it takes away the benefit of the curved display which is better in-hand feel. You have the straight edges with the curve then kind of digging in and giving an extra rough feel. I can't understand who thought it was a good idea. If you are going to give a curved screen give curved edges that blend in to the curve.

    hi why is my Xiaomi 14 Display resolution less than my Xiaomi !2 Pro??? Xiaomi 12 Pro had a 2K display and this one has 1.5k display.....actually contrary to what you said about the design I fell in love with the form factor had I not seen it in person.....the moment I saw it out went the xiaomi 12 Pro with its beautiful curved display and difficult to get tempered glasss and huge form factor and incame the Xiaomi 14 with its really beautiful and might I say cute form factor I did not even mind sacrificing the screen realestate for the single handed user pleasure it provided...apart for Snapdragon 8gen 3 and the camera which I am not a fan off in any mobile I just fell in love with the white Xiaomi 14...but still ended up buying the even more simplistic Matt Black version....I dont know I am a fool maybe but I just love its form factor and cute looks. Guys I am not like this but I just had to have this little mobile I was tired of those huge heavy mobiles.😅. I just Love it's cute boxy design with the metal frame!

    After your review, got Vivo x100 Pro - I checked this Xiaomi 14 vs X100 Pro, I love haptics of Xiaomi 14, plus size and software compare to this Funtouch (only issue of lens fogging and heating due to size) I choose x100 Pro.
    Funtouch is less polished
    Haptics are weaker in x100 Pro compare to better tight integration in Xiaomi 14

    congratulations excellent review. I think that Xiaomi is the only smartphone that in a small size offers everything that famous smartphones have. aesthetics are subjective, and I honestly like a square bump more than a circular one. the photos when Leica is involved must first be "understood", it is necessary to understand at what distance to shoot and which gives the best scenario, it is not a simple point and shoot (even in automatic mode, all this was taught to us by xiaomi 13 pro). when you succeed the results are really good and particular. a greeting

    Weird. No microstutters that I experience with my unit. Though I have the chinese version here of the Xiaomi 14. Runs fluid. It just has animations that in general are a bit slower than on all the others. But they run fluid.
    Also the design I know its a matter of taste but I like it very much. They made all the sides as clean as possible. The IR Blaster now hidden in the camera bump. Very clean design that I like. Especially the camera bump not being round and in the middle is what I like the most actually.

    Xiaomi seem to have done a lot right with this phone, especially the form factor and camera performance which is close to perfect for the price range, but the issue I have is that while in many ways I prefer the smaller form factor and the camera in certain scenarios I just can't get on board with HyperOS. And this is where the Oneplus 12 comes in. The Oneplus 12 is imo too big and I don't like the curved display, I would also have like to have seen some kind of vintage filter mode in camera settings like the x100 pro has but.... the OP12 has Oxygen OS and is cheaper, and for me those are the real deal breakers. Oxygen OS is just better optimised than HyperOS and just an all round better experience imho even if HyperOS has more options in places and a bit more versatility in the camera. From my experience as well oneplus phones seem to just age better than xiaomi when it comes to software. So despite my misgivings about the OP12 I still think it is a better option for me, I just wish it was the size of the Xiaomi 14.

    • @Devil-ig7kl
      @Devil-ig7kl 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If OnePlus would have to offer a compact phone then they'd go to the Samsung or Apple route.... They'd price their flagships very high then they'll keep removing things for lower variants... For example, they might not give a telephoto on the base as well as a plus variant... Did you remember the OnePlus 9&9 pro as well as 9r? I love dedicated telephoto lenses and I'd prefer it over ultra wide... It's not just the lenses... They might also compromise on some other basic things like display, battery etc... "A phone doesn't need a Ultra/Pro tag to be a Pro" that's what OnePlus is doing and i like it.
