I was there it was hard to watch
To give some additional context to that scene: I had actually celebrated the fact that I wasn’t clipping through Zelda at the beginning. If it’s gonna happen it always happens at the beginning. I had no idea it was even possible to clip thru later. It genuinely broke my brain because it made no sense to me at that time. I was very precise about counting each zuggle to prevent that exact thing.

It kinda pisses me off just how little recognition you get for these videos, the amount of skill it takes to do these challenges is already absolutely insane, but the fact that you can edit it into something that's genuinely enjoyable too is just unbelievable, good shit man.
No joke. I started off feeling like, “This is pointless,” (even though I love glitches), but the genuine emotion and fantastic editing was better than any film I’ve seen in years. Couldn’t tear myself away.
I like how this video wasn’t just a cut down vod like a lot of other challenge videos and that you actually added commentary

I have a challenge run, beat the game as a normal dude. Meaning, outside of the starting area, don't use any of the hand abilities ever. Only use whatever a normal dude who isn't named link could get his hands on.
also i had to leave a seperate comment; all the outer wilds music being used making me so happy. i love outer wilds, and i love to see its music getting loved

well you constantly have to switch between them so one doesn’t get blasted into hell by autosaves
just make a second user profile for your second save file
You can actually run up the clock hands in Recall shrine and fall off at the right time to get through the door. I did this to get through the shrine in minimum inputs.

In the 0% run, Link first spends 40 minutes sun-bathing as he slowly floats down from the GSI, and then he teleports to Ganon, and finally he summons weapons from around the world to shred Ganon to pieces.
In this run, he uses super-technology from the future and summons tripple-long swords from another dimension and destroys Ganon with a light show!
Hey, we all appreciate that you’ve shown us that it is almost possible. I like how at the end you said that it was the simple answer, and people like me know that we don’t usually take the simple things. I’m not saying to put yourself through this again, but it’s possible to skip gsi, by wrong warping into the a shrine from the start, then leaving, then after beating the monsters we can probably in the future find out how to noclip using nothing. Or, a very weird method is to somehow make the game lag to the point where it is about to crash and somehow (using a noclip to go through the boss room regularly) place a travel medallion and find a way to glitch that both into the new save, and to make it teleport both of your saves right after a scene happens. This makes you teleport into Ganon’s lair, and the you can do your other glitches. Sorry for the long explanation, thanks for reading and have a nice day.

The reason the steering stick won’t work is because the game has a very very high chance the unloading one of your zuggled items so you need to zuggle one more item so you would just have to get really really lucky

God these videos are so good. I've given up on thinking it can't get better or dumber because I've been wrong every time. One editing recommendation, if you blur out the timer when you flash forward, it'll help keep suspense during final attempts because the viewer will have no idea which one will actually be the one (assuming they don't check the timestamps).

In 1.0, you can actually clip out of the prologue area, allowing you to bypass all the cutscene triggers and not have to do anything about the Keese. (They do it in any%.) So one fewer zuggle is necessary there

yknow what really throws me off when i find new cool creators who make really high quality and entertaining content? Thinking they have atleast a couple hundred thousand subs then realizing they dont even have atleast 100k, we need to start giving people the love they deserve

God this was so goddamn cool. I knew the run was going to be amazing but I was not prepared for the STORYTELLING man!
One suggestion: you use two items for army clip, right? (Autobuild + ultrahand). It might be possible to bring a steering stick capsule with you and only use one item. You'd have to get it from a chest somewhere so you don't have to pay a device dispenser. You'd have to do it some way that lets you cancel the zuggle overload afterwards, maybe zuggling something breakable onto your shield and getting it broken during the Ganon fight.
It’s a very interesting theory. You are right. If I had wooden sticks ziggled and a zlotted flame emitter I can burn some of my sticks after the wall to avoid overload
Well redoing the entire run sounds like way too much work but it might be cool to just proof-of-concept the clip. The object map shows a few steering stick capsules in the overworld though I have no idea why they're there.
I still feel like it has to be possible to clip with zero items somehow. Did you ever try the special steering stick objects? There's SpObj_ControlStick_A_02 from Hudson's racing minigames and SpObj_ControlStick_A_03 from a few of the Yiga hideouts. I vaguely remember them having some special properties when it comes to clipping (though definitely ask someone who actually knows about this stuff before lugging them all across Hyrule).
It might also be possible to hydro clip. I think you can activate it off of a flurry rush if you can get one somehow:
- You could do it on the last army wave and then finish them off afterward (probably by them burning to death, or by a really long weapon sticking through the wall, or by them walking into a recall-locked thrown weapon). But I'm pretty sure the Colgera cutscene will pull you back to the army platform anyway so IDK if this would work. Maybe if you were on the Ganon trigger before the cutscene started you would trigger it frame 1 before you got pulled away? Probably not.
- Or maybe there's some way to trigger a flurry rush during the Colgera fight that I don't know about.
- Or, if you beat Colgera (probably by bringing a hoverbike or recall locking a bunch of long ramps), then you might be able to flurry rush off of Gohma? IDK if any of its attacks are flurry-rushable, maybe the leg attack.
The other option would be to just beat the whole boss rush somehow. You could probably get water for Mucktorok fine with a hydrant on a weapon, I've even seen people do it with hydrants on homing carts. Then the rest is mostly an issue of durability. I'm sure you'll solve most of the problems here on your stream tomorrow though in the process of doing dungeons. I'll definitely come by if I can.

I think 0 items may be theoretically possible. You can skip heart container with GSI skip or wrong warp to army (-2), deal with mucktorok by attaching a hydrant to your weapon (-2), and I’d argue the master sword doesn’t count because not only the bosses health bar fully depleted, it’s done in a cutscene of sorts where you aren’t even actually using a weapon (-1)
The idea is pretty cool but it skims over boss rush and gsi skip a lot. Gsi skip means that if I die, I respawn back on gsi meaning I have to redo all of gsi skip every death. And beating army plus 6 bosses while having enough durability for that and no heals is really a stretch but yea i do kinda agree that the final hit is kinda more of a cutscene. Timber even proved u don’t actually need the master sword for it to work.
i saw this video yesterday in my feed but just skipped over it and man am i glad i decided to watch it today. this is genuinely one of the hardest and most well made totk challenge run video out there. props dude

Holy crap I can’t believe you did it! The feat is impressive but holy crap the *dedication*, I don’t know if I would have been able to keep on if I had gone through all of that and then clipped through Zelda. But you did, for HOURS more, seriously props to you on that!
You can get over the lake on GSI by pushing logs into the water. If you repeatedly do the get up animation onto the logs they move very slightly. I have done this to get across the lake with minimum inputs, took like 30 straight minutes of getting up on a log.

stand in front of a wall and save, recall lock a hoverstone where you saved, and reloading that save would clip you into the wall.might have been usefull getting to the horned statue.there are ways to clip even if the steering stick is FEd , though I'm not sure if it could be usefull in this situation.keep up the good work！
I would love to see how nuts this would look with the dirty save sections edited out leaving just the main save with items appearing from thin air and walls exploding.

I did a challenge run of this game where I wasn't allowed to talk to any NPC's, as link is a silent protagonist (my definition of "talk to" is pressing the A button when the "talk" prompt appears). Turns out none of the dungeons are possible, and you can't even get the paraglider. I did it glitchless, and that boss rush was a nightmare.

32:31 this is actually not quite the case, as this happens in the base game with no glitches. if you attempt to block the orbs with a shield or hit them with any sword other than the master sword the item will take massive damage and break nearly instantly

hypothetically speaking, if you do timbers GSI skip, cant you avoid all of gsi's shrine issues? i know its easiest to trigger gsi skip with a bow and arrow but i feel like with enough glitches (gas cannon maybe? zuggled time bomb?) you could skip over the bow and arrow. its nowhere near time efficent (hell, it takes like an hour to fall down through gsi to ganondorfs army alone) but i think its plausible to beat the game with less (sorry if this was mentioned in the video)

9:12 I've seen people clipping through the Zonai Factory's heart-draining doors with glitches and the events that are on the other side still play normally, so I think you could have used that on this door to avoid those uses
