After many resets of enduring the pain of seeing Sid kill all of his friends over and over, Woody decided the only way to stop Sid, was to kill his friends. After killing most of the toys in the ruins, he went to Snowdin, where he encountered Andy. Andy, knowing Woody's plan, confronted Woody. After a long battle, Andy, who kept pleading, to Woody, accidentally killed Woody in self defense. Andy realized why Woody did this, and swore to continue his plan, and avenge Woody.
