Brava!! Excellent performance!! Beautifully sensitive and expressive contrast and dynamics throughout!! I loved it from start to finish. And the last note on this aria is ALWAYS the icing on the cake for me. She executed it FLAWLESSLY all the way to the end!! Again, Brava!!

Ok. You are right .I did not want to write out the world wooble.
Scotto was a most talented and expressive soprano. But after mid seventies her phrasing had an uncontrolled wooble in full voiced note attacks. And many nights , live at the MET, was a little more than disturbing.
This woman has given so much over the years. She truly is one of my desert island sopranos.

Suor Angelica dedica-se ao cultivo de ervas. Esqueceu a caída,
No conceito mundano da época, por ter concebido um filho
Sem estar casada. Hoje, em dia, não há mais o filho ilegítimo,
Faz um unguento e dá a confreira que está doente, sem brilho
No rosto, sabendo que todos buscam ter o direito legítimo
De ser feliz, sem necessidade de colocar a água fria em cima
Da sepultura da confreira que morreu no convento. Ao vento,
Ela disse: quem morreu não tem a sede, tem Deus na estima.
Tendo convivido com as irmãs do convento a vida abastecida
De muitas preces, louvores e recreações no pátio do convento,
O céu que vivenciou em vida, sente-se a Deus agradecida. (*)
