I can understand your customers sentiments. I was 12 yo when the Ford Pilot was new. " NEW", lol, a revamped 1936 Ford V8 sedan , without mechanical brakes, BUT, in those days NOTHING sounded as good as Ford's V8 flathead. I'd love to be around to see the final results of this owners efforts. Better be quick though, I'm now 84yo [ and still love the sound of a flathead V8, minus mufflers.] lol
About 40 years ago I won a pilot in a tender. It was being disposed of by the public trustee as the previous owner had died and left his estate to the trustees to administer. What a mess. I won the bidding with a $600 bid. I went to pick the car up which looked fabulous and it only had 60,000 miles on it . But between the time I won the bid and when I went to pick it up,someone had been (test driving it) and smashed the left front guard. I backed out of the tender and let it go....duh, A mate had a set of alloy Allard heads for the pilot engine which have to be amongst the rarest heads ever made for a flattie. They also have central jacking. You could lift the car off the ground with the b uilt in jacks,a real pommy idea.
I hate when they leave them crappy, make it brand new but original if you have to keep it a dinosaur. That could be a really clean street machine to be proud of. Just looks like ya ran out of money.

1952 eh? It looks like a 1936 Ford. The Zephyr that replaced it was light years ahead
Its an English built Pilot.
@@superformance4147 yes, with the small V8 that didn't even have 60hp.
Well nobody is going to pinch it
You need to be a jet fighter Pilot to get it started. A play on words.
Please go back and correct the spelling of the model of the car
