I forgot to mention that I really like how Sonic, instead of commanding Shahra to stop giving the rings to Erazor Djinn, he commands her to do what she thinks is right. Just another way of showing what Sonic values.
Sonic had actually absorbed three of the world rings from Erazor Djinn. Sadness, Rage/Anger and Hatred to create the Darkspine form to use in aid against the monstrous form of Erazor. People do speculate since Sonic only absorbed three of the rings, that Darkspine Sonic is a incomplete form. I adore Secret rings and Black Knight which followed after. I really like how they did these games, with researching on the stories - cultures, everything. I never knew about them until recently and fell in love with the storybook games. They're a lot different from base game and they're so underrated. Some of my favourite games even if discovered years after.

I love secrect rings and black knight, both underated gems. Great writing, decent gameplay, awesome soundtracks great video:)
