1986 Honda VF1000R Recommission prt.1 - Introduction, initial inspection, assessment & carb removal

In this video series we will focus more on the recommission of specific components including the engine and drive train rather than progress with the bike itself. I intend to keep these video's around 10mins and focus more on technical content.

Thank you! I am an engineer by trade but my father was a master mechanic working on both bikes and cars, so as far back as I can remember I’ve been turning spanners. I restored my first motorcycle as a teenager and have been addicted ever since. Yep, we still ended up doing quite a bit more cosmetic stuff on the chassis than planned, but it was worth it to match the perfect condition of the original bodywork
