I started this channel in January of 2021 to share my knowledge of selling digital downloads on Etsy, or any other platform, as well as my experience with Print on demand. I do my best to bring you the most relevant content about selling print on demand and printables, creating interesting print on demand designs, testing myself print on demand products and their quality, as well as provide you with marketing tutorials, and so much more! I recommend many services and websites in my videos, some may contain affiliate links- which means that you can have a discounted price, or the same price, while I earn a bit of a commission for the referral- to help support this channel and the costs of producing the videos.

I missed when you got it but I wanted to say that I love your microphone. Sound is fine (excellent as far as I can tell) but the colors and all make it look great and really fits in with your style!

I have an etsy shop selling my svgs. I do not have any other following except a not too great tiktok account which I would not want to show them. When you say to create a portfolio, it means pics of my designs on actual products? Im really stuck on the portfolio question from CF. Thanks.
Gurl.... i thought back in February i was going to just jump into selling my stuff! then i decided I needed to maybe research so I could have a successful business! I am still researching and learning so much! as I'm creating! I really can't believe how far i have come since then and am so glad i decided not to just jump in! I had been out of the art scene for so long I had no idea wat Ai even was! my 12 yr old kept trying to get me to try it and i refused! lol now I cannot stop!!! lol i really wanted to open by the end of the year, I've already have invested around 10 grand into all of this! i just keep telling myself, It will all be worth it in the end! but i think i may wait, I'm just going on my gut, this was all a hobby in the beginning! lol

Anything that is a links page is OK.
Again, the point of it all is to have a place to show verity & creativity- show what you'll be selling. the platform itself is not as important as what you do with it :)
If you're comfortable displaying things with Koji- go for it :)
i actually used Payhip as a portfolio it's way better than other platforms, all i did is that i put my #id in the heading of my store and get accepted after few hours.
i'm selling kawaii cliparts, coloring pages, and seasonal sublimations

And yeah, I love Payhip, it's an awesome platform, and really easy to follow through.
I think so many people who are just starting out are hearing the word "portfolio" and don't know what they need to do, or how easily you could break that word down to actionable steps :)

I got approved thanks to your Part 1 and Canva portfolio videos, plus I wrote that I heard about CF from Mey Aroyo's TH-cam channel. Now I'm trying to list my graphics, but similar products to mine are all FREE so I don't understand how to price my products. How would I know how to price competitively when there are no prices on anything? Where do I see listings that actually have prices?

Isnt crazy? If i have a portfolio like a shop why would i need creative fabrica to sell stuff?
Cause many people like to sell on multiple platforms.. The biggest advantage of selling on CF is actually promoting your items as a CF affiliate, so you'll be making money when people sign up to CF

If cf is so great, they should allow ppl start a shop from scratch, checking a previous professional 20yo graphic design portfolio, instead closing the doors because i dont have a already set shop as they like. Or are they accepting ppl from zero and allowing to build a shop content with them?

@@SonnyBurnett2012 Yeah, I agree, if someone wants to see 20 years of selling online it is BS, but that's not what CF wants to see.
You can submit different portfolios, they don't have to be a shop,
You can be a total newbie, upload some designs to instagram or a static web page that isn't a shop- and get accepted...
It's mentioned in the video.
All I was saying is that if you're looking to sell there as an ADDED thing to your shop- your shop can be used as a portfolio.
I know you're not pissed at me, that's ok :) (and yeah, they do accept beginners, I have had viewers who made a static page, uploaded several photos of their designs, and submitted that as a portfolio and got accepted. Even people who used Behance - worked on it 3 hours and submitted that)

Totally get the ADHD thing! i have a hard time staying on track and focused, i even take notes so i can try to keep things in order! It's pretty dang hard lol i was wondering if I'm able to upload other art work I've done in the past or on other apps onto CF, so they can see these as well! or just add them to my portfolio?

Not on track---one of my news feeds came across and said that the end of "Chat CPT" and other AI sites will be shut down due to intellectual theft. Have you heard anything regarding this? I would have asked this question on IM, but I'm not on yet.
I love off-track comments, no worries.
I haven't seen anything about chatgpt shutting down, other than the bug they had few days ago...
I don't think they can actually shut them all down, due to the fact that a lot of these apps have an open and clear code- one that everyone can copy and replicate.
It's kinda like with Napster.... they were shut down for streaming, and they were the first, the big. Streaming is not shut down by far these days- you can pretty much watch any show or movie you want on multiple websites.
But, I guess we'll have to wait and see...
I personally don't use ChatGPT that much, I am using CopyAI a lot more, but I will follow up and see if I can find anything about that.
(Also, a lot of companies who are sued for any reason- pay and settle and not close...)

I do not know... I also don't think that would be the factor- as they do approve people with portfolios that don't have a visible following base.
If you personally feel like submitting your IG won't be putting your best foot forward- create a portfolio on Behance or somewhere else
