Fantastic tutorial! So many designers use Spoonflower as their portfolio. This was a great overview in how to make the uploading go a bit faster. I don't keep my notes on the computer, but I have a spreadsheet, as well as a physical notebook where I put info. I also keep info on my Procreate files of designs I use - the palette, brush names and sizes, font sizes, sometimes the process used (if it was complicated). Thank you for the work you put into making this video. It truly is very helpful!
I have so many designs, that I have been waiting for somewhere to use them. You have inspired me, through your easy to follow video, to start a spoonflower shop. Thanks Mey
Thanks, Meya for the video! You are an inspiration, always showing how to... without hiding anything! Can you please make a video of how to get started with Instagram and Pinterest for beginners to share my designs? Thanks in advance!
There's a marketing playlist here on the channel: th-cam.com/play/PLlkY0AZaiUu6e6JTXdJBBm0XMVz1pSwHD.html It has old & new videos. there will also be a big pinterest video that I am taking from patreon to the channel in a few weeks... But the main marketing videos will probably be in the beginning of next year (along with walk-through written guides).
Great stuff Mey. I had one design sampled for the Colourways feature prior to it becoming public, but I didn't know how to implement it post launch - thank you for that tip [and everything else - like that grid view for mass editing designs]!
Hi Mey, thank you showing the steps. By the way, you mentioned that we need to check the pattern before uploading it to SF, do you know any online FREE tool to check if the seamless pattern looks good to upload to SF.
Hi Mey, could you explain how 1/4 drop or 1/2 drop patterns work with Spoonflower? I learned these in fabric design class and I’m not quite sure how this would work with the scale -do I just use the design and scale it for different uses? Or does spoon flower only do full drop? I haven’t tried Spoonflower yet I’m just preparing designs and want to know what will work-Thank you for all of your tutorials about Spoonflower and their updates😊🎉
Hello Mey ! Thank you for so interesting videos every time :). ❤ Sometimes I watching them for all day :D. So I have a question about AI generated patterns. I saw many of them on Spoonflower. Do they really accept that kind of art on their platform?
The only official statement from SF was that you cannot use AI made patterns on their contests (the design challenges) - even though a lot of people still do so.
But if I want to have variety in COLOR AND SIZE for the same design, how should I do it? For example, I have a simple flower on solid background, I want to sell it in 3 sizes and I have 6 different color combinations. Do you know how I can do that?
Thanks so much Mey. You really helped me to understand Spoonflower.
Happy to help :)
Wow Repper is so magical. Definitely will try.
It's addictive, so be careful LOL
Thanks so much Mey, this was soooooooo helpful. 😊👏👍🎉
This video is great, thank you! It'll be so very useful to upload the designs 💕

Thanks for the tip on the different sizes. Using the swatch, fat quarter and yard as a way to determine size will be helpful!
Hello I’m here to watch and learn and I started my spoonflower shop already and I enjoy creating patterns.
Creating patterns is the best :)

@@MeyTribe this means there is no restrictions on selling AI made patterns? They only can't to participate in challenges?
