Rivers- biggest and flow to the ocean Creeks- smaller than rivers but still flow to the ocean Streams- connect between rivers or branch off of them, usually used for any size of flowing/downhill water Brook- usually references a very small stream
Same, I also edited them all, I just need to schedule the posts. I did the same lat year, made them all ay in advance. I tried to keep up the year before but it was hard.
@@viviennartSame! I’m over half way done and I’m going to finish the rest before the 1st. I feel so much more confident this year because I did so much before the start of the challenge.
These prompts are soooooo up my alley, I moved to Scotland from Aus 3 years ago and I've taken so many beautiful photos that I'll definitely be able to use for this! They're just too perfect. I think I'll finally do my first Peachtober and get back into art after so many years! Thanks! 🎉❤
I am full on going into peachtober this time! This video is a massive help❤ Cant wait to discover myself! I will be picking inspiration from your art tooooo❤
Thanks for the guide and the encouragement! I am in the midst of a big move so I haven’t started my thumbnails at all. I think I may just do some selections every week instead of every day since I have so much going on. I love that the prompts can mostly be taken literally, so it could be simple OR conceptual. I have one piece from last year that I never posted so it’s going up soon! Yay!
Ive always done every other theme- i think this year i will do every 3 days one drawing, but idk cause there are so many cute themes! Maybe i will hand pick them
so so excited for this years peachtober! some prompts also just happen to work out with some art work i was already in the process of making :D i always love when you break down the list, too, because it helps me on words im super stuck on! thank you!
Thanks for this video! I’ve tried to do the challenge a few times before, but I stop midway through the month and end up so discouraged and disappointed in myself. October is always a busy month for me (going back to uni and learning how to drive this year!) and I don’t think doing full illustrations is the best thing for me. While listening to you talk about the prompts I thought of doing a storyboard panel each day, following the prompt as if it was the title of a movie I would be working on, and I might do that! I’m an animation student trying to focus on storyboard, and this would be a great exercise to practice my composition skills!! I encourage other storyboard nerds to try and to this too :) I’m even gonna tell my storyboard teacher about the idea! Let’s hope I’m not putting too much on my plate and I can do this! And if not, this will work as an idea for someone else :)
Storyboards sound awesome! Drawing every day is such a challenge even if you stop at 2 weeks you've made something every day for 2 weeks! That's awesome!!!!
I love this channel. I learned of it halfway through Peachtober last year. I am very excited to participate this year and even more excited to see the posts the community shares. I hope everyone enjoys themselves this year without pressure, just enjoy❤
so excited too ! one of my concerns is that my studio is very dark and it's tough to get good pictures on the opposite of a beautiful sunny day 😬 also, if you know apps that allowed program Instagram posts I'm all for it !!
I use lightroom to edit pics! You could also use VSCO! I think google has a scanning app for phones? Maybe even just finding a natural coloured light bulbed lamp (not too blue or yellow) that would be fine. Cloudy days are also nice for taking pictures because the light is diffused but i know what u mean - sometimes gloomy days are REALLY DARK!
Currently, I'm sitting at "Pixel" and if everything goes well, I'll finish Peachtober at October 15th hehe. I'm having a great and creatively fruitful time thank you Sha'an! ☺
Pixel is probably the most difficult one! I just draw for an hour in my sketchbook and sketched about 13 concepts!!!! I raced thru but feel so much more comfy now that's i've put ideas to paper!
@@furrylittlepeach 13 concepts holy cow! 😳I was lucky, because I did a song drawing challenge a few years ago and one has the word "pixel" in it. So I'm also doing a redraw of said picture and I'm thrilled to see how much my skills have improved.
I’ve been sick the last couple weeks and was worried I wouldn’t have the energy for peachtober, but I’m finally feeling better and just finished doing little thumbnails for each day! There’s a few days I’m not quite happy with my ideas for though, hoping this video might inspire me!
Hi Sha'an - just enjoyed your colour pallette class on skillshare - really full of useful practical learning (for my dyslexic brain the speed of speech was a little fast and certain details could have been lingered over a little is my only thought) It made me thing that a palette hunting episode would be great on this chanel finding pallettes in the wild...
Yay! I found you too late last time to do this but I did it for fun and I got to day 19! I started with the Bee from day one and that was my character throughout the 19 days! Looking forward to doing this for real this year. Thanks for the heads up so i can get ahead of myself. :)
It was a goal of mine this year to write and illustrate a kids book, so I’m using the prompts to do it! Haha wish me luck! (The writing part is so tricky!)
I’m actually doing a social media break with my teenager for the month of October, so I’ll miss all the instagram fun. We may also do an offline artober of sorts and maybe make a zine at the end of the month. Haven’t picked a theme or prompt yet though.
Idk if I'm gonna do it this year. I had low-key a horrible time last year, so I'm shared! Plus, I have a lot on my plate already! I wish there were 2 of me! 😭😭😭
Omg you had a bad time during peachtober????? So sorry to hear this!!! Feel free to approach it however you best have fun next time (if there is a next time). Half of the fun is checking the hashtags!
not me discovering this just now ㅠㅠ dont think ill be able to participate every day but at least a couple. Also, did i hear you correctly, one can also write?? thats so cool
Tonka looks so toasted. Love him ❤

Tonk’s PURRRRS at the end just made my whole week 😻🫶
A little treat for us ✨️
I’ve already finished all my sketches (except the spider one) & i still watched all of this because i’m so excited 👀

@@viviennart i love how peachtober invites you to do it in advance if you want to, it takes off a lot of unecessary stress/pressure 😊
@@viviennartSame! I’m over half way done and I’m going to finish the rest before the 1st. I feel so much more confident this year because I did so much before the start of the challenge.
This will be my second year of Peachtober but I didn’t finish last year so I’m hopping to get through it all!
