They’ve been the only creatures Aqua has fought up until now and the heartless don’t really look much different at this point since she’s mostly fought only Neo Shadows.
I find it bizarre that 0.2 BbS (or whatever they were planning) was teased all the way back in BbS Final Mix... So strange that according to the devs this was originally the prologue episode for Kingdom Hearts III before being cut off and becoming it's own thing. I wonder how much they had planned for KH3 back then, as it was sure already in the pre-stages of development. I'm certain Dream Drop Distance wasn't originally meant to bridge the gap, or come out at all between BbS and KH3, but a portion of what was planned for KH3 expanded into a full game. No wonder KH3 felt so half-baled when it released. Entire chapters were literally cut off and release as separate games. That is just a theory I came up with though. But one that makes the most sense to me.
Seem like bbs vol 2 was gonna be 3 parts. Mickey trying to save Aqua like KH 0.2, Riku's time while Sora was sleeping and Kairi story which I think would be saving the nobodies cause they just randomly returned.
Unfortunately this boss is all ignites thou I’m glad they made him vulnerable to ignite or he prob wouldn’t be beatable Lv1 Pro tip, if you use 2 ignites in a row the second one is guaranteed to status anomaly him
