Hi, I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate your channel. I am 60 years old and with a lot of chronic pain and other situations that make it incredibly hard for me to sleep. This is a little embarrassing to say, but I have never owned a new mattress, not once in my entire life. So my spending money on this mattress is a huge deal and a huge investment. It’s taken months of saving up. So it is crucial that I get the right mattress. This will probably be my only new mattress, my entire life for the rest of my life. But when I say chronic pain, I’m not talking about aches and pains. I’m talking about never ending chronic pain. I am a side sleeper. And I change positions constantly all night long if I’m able to sleep. Your channel is helping me beyond words. And I thank you so extremely much❣️❣️❣️❣️
I tried the Sunset and the Midnight. We decided on the Sunset. The Midnight is much firmer than I thought it would be. We're both side sleepers and it just wasn't offering good pressure relief in our shoulders. Also the Midnight has a weird rubbing sensation when rolling around; I think it's the gel visco rubbing against another layer. Feels weird. Wish I tried the Moonlight as it looks like it's right in between firmness wise. Sunset took about a month before I felt like my body adjusted to it. I woke up with a stiff back for a few weeks, but it stopped after awhile.
Great review! I just ordered my Sunset Luxe. Being a lightweight (155lbs) side sleeper, I thought this was the best fit for me. Ive had a firm mattress and hate it. Dying to see this soft mattress. Cant wait for it to arrive!
I'm 175 and my wife is about your weight. She loves the Sunset. We returned it to try the Midnight. Don't recommend it lmao. If you find the Sunset too soft, go with the moonlight. The Midnight is so firm that I don't know how they market it for side sleepers. Returned the Midnight and now we're waiting on the Sunset to come back 😆
@@Sparklesniff I thought about the moonlight, but I want soft as possible. I think I'll love the Sunset. Hope you do too. Thanks for the response and your thoughts, much appreciated!
@@alexiajolie I love it. It's been almost a year. I see now they have an Elite now, but I dont think it's any better. The Luxe is great. I still wanted to try the NOLA, but I'm very happy with the Sunset Luxe. Being a side sleeper, its soft and what I needed. It was between this and the NOLA Evolution, which I wish I could have tried, but I'm sure its similiar. But no regrets for me.
Seems like the core Helix Twilight with the $299 GlacioTex 2in plush topper upgrade will deliver an extremely similar feel to the Luxe but with better breathability at the expense of the firmer springs in the middle… which might be better for mid weight side sleepers while still providing enough support for stomach and back sleepers. Best bargain in the lineup?
I took the sleep quiz and was matched with the Helix Dusk. My question is: what's the primary difference between the Helix Dusk Luxe and the Helix Plus? I'm 5'4, currently weigh around 200 lbs, I run warm in my sleep and am a back sleeper. Which would be best for me?
I’m confused. The video says the Moonlight is good for side sleepers, but on the Helix website, it says it has back and stomach support & the Midnight, while being a bit firmer, has the side sleeper support
I like bounce and fluff, like I want a feel the pillowiness but also i want it to be responsive and i kinda dislike memory foam they just so dense and I dont feel the fluff
Thanks for commenting. The most firm mattress we have tried is the Brooklyn Bedding Plank. It was about a 9 out of 10 for us. We actually made a a video of our Best Firm mattresses here which the Plank is featured right at the beginning. - th-cam.com/video/UBULeE1HDQE/w-d-xo.html

Love it when companies make it easier for customers to figure out which product is the best fit for them.

The Midnight sounds really terrific.
We just bought a midnight luxe, super happy it will be here next week.
Hope you enjoy it!
How was it

@@ajdrew1661how much do you weigh dude if you don’t mind. Beds have been killing my shoulders. I’m 190 lbs
Helix is a great company and love the sleep quiz for picking the best individual fit. The Helix Midnight is my favorite!

Where can I try these in store somewhere? In Southern California?
Sounds like Helix has a lot of good mattress options!
What is the thickness?
the moonlight would be the one I would probably need. I sleep on my side and my stomach. All are nice.
Useful.
Glad it was helpful!
Wow so nice... How much for king size.... I'm from malaysia....
Around $2000

I know it's not a big deal, but watching you guys trying out these mattresses in street clothes made me feel like the beds are uncomfortable.
Euro top..
