    Please consider reviewing the core Helix Twilight with the $299 GlacioTex 2in topper upgrade!
    It’s a couple hundred dollars less than the Luxe and the only difference is the firmer springs in the middle, foot, and top of the bed.
    The core Twilight uses the same copper infused top layer as the Midnight Luxe but has two firmer responsive foams below that.
    The Core Twilight with the topper should fall between the Midnight Luxe and the Twilight Luxe on the firmness scale.
    Seems like the best value in the entire lineup 🤫😅

    I am laying on the Helix Midnight Luxe right now watching your video! I just set it up today and am looking forward to the next month of sleep. I came from an all foam mattress and realized I vastly prefer how hybrids have inner coil springs. They just feel more supportive. The pillow topper is a feature I haven't had before, I like the way it feels. The all foam mattress I am replacing is only a year or sold old and even with rotating it, It felt like it had a dip in the middle of the mattress even though visually it looked perfect.

    I see that you and their site mention that this bed is made up of different memory foams on the top layers. My main concern is that when the temperature in the room is colder, memory foams can get a bit stiff. I've had this issue with a previous pillow as well, which was filled with shredded memory foam. The room can get cooler in the winter so this could be an issue.
    I essentially want to be sure that the bed won't end up stiffer than it should be due to temperature changes.

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Saint! These are valid concerns. Memory foam is designed to react to body heat and gently conform around a person's contours, and this can mean that it feels a bit harder in colder seasons. If you don't like this, then we'd recommend taking a look at a mattress with foams that are a bit more temperature neutral (latex, polyfoam, some engineered foams). If you haven't done so, you might take a look at the mattress selection quiz on Goodbed.com to find another option for you.

    • @saint_snow
      @saint_snow ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@goodbed Thanks for the response. So something thats either a latex hybrid or a polyfoam hybrid like the winkbed or nolah 15 is what I should be looking at over this? Because other than this, I was interested in those as well.

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@saint_snow Yep! We'd expect both the Winkbed and the Nolah 15 to be less sensitive to ambient temperatures.

    As a side sleeper I have a problem with edging of a mattress.
    I tend to also be an edge side sleeper.
    Most mattresses, I feel as if I am going to fall off.
    Any recommendations?
    I like a medium.
    Unsure if there is something between a medium and a plush.
    I like plush but do not want to feel like I am sleeping in a hole.

      Hi Rebecca -- Based on the criteria you provided, this particular mattress probably isn't ideal for you. It's got a bit deeper cushioning, which you don't like, and we gave it a 7 for edge support, which is good but certainly not its best feature. The good news is there are plenty of mattresses that are a better match for your criteria. Here is a list of all of them:
      www.goodbed.com/mattress-models/?softness=5&softness=6&cushioning=1&cushioning=2&edge-support=8
      As you'll see, there are dozens of mattresses on this list, so I'd suggest refining it further based on your other preferences and priorities, which you can do using the filters provided on the list. Once you've narrowed it down sufficiently, you can then use the compare button to create a side-by-side comparison of the models that look most interesting and/or check out our video reviews of those products.
      I hope that's helpful.

    Considering this mattress comes compressed, if you would want to return it, how does that work? I'm a 185 lb side sleeper that currently has a new mattress that was labeled by the manufacturer as a medium pillow top 850 coil innerspring however it's actually a firm to very firm feel in my opinion. I'm happy with it's spinal alignment, and it's sleep on top feeling, but there's one just issue with it... I do get hip pain unfortunately. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you very much!

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there -- When you are talking about the mattress that's too firm and giving you hip pain, are you talking about the Helix Midnight Luxe shown in this video? If so, is this based on the first night or two after you unboxed it, or has it been longer than that?

    • @BlackHawkPSU
      @BlackHawkPSU 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@goodbed Thank you for the reply! I appreciate it! No, it's not the Helix, it's a Serta Perfect Sleeper Delfino Nights medium pillow top purchased at Sam's Club.

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BlackHawkPSU Ah! In that case, you might look at a thin topper to alleviate that sense of surface pressure? This also might dissipate with time as the mattress breaks in.

    WHY do expensive mattresses sag like a deflated air mattress when you sit on them? Sag = UnStable~ the opposite of Support

    • @goodbed
      @goodbed  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Hi Mary -- I assume you're talking about the edge support in this mattress. FYI, we covered this feature specifically at 11:45 in the video. You may find it interesting to see that the edge is much more supportive when lying on the edge than when sitting on the edge. Also, one of the other things we explained on this topic was that the edge support is a bit better on the sides of the mattress than it is at the head and foot.
      I hope that's helpful.
