Lando Norris is already on his final warning with me, I think you can guess what's coming 🙄😂 Ruined his race by not defending hard enough in Turn 1. That McLaren car was as quick as Ferrari today I believe it not quicker.
In a way I'm sort of glad we have these crappy sprint races this year because Norris has bottled everyone so far and Max has won all 4 of them. Think Max would have a 39 point lead or so if we had no sprint races. A DNF for Max and a win for Lando (+Fastest Lap) next race would leave the gap at 13 points whereas because of these sprint races would still leave the gap at 31 points. I still don't like sprint races but this year they've guaranteed that we don't have a weak champion.
@@willf1sv5 I know Russell has been better than Hamilton this season and that he’s lost points from Silverstone and Belgium through no fault of his own but if he was really that great, he would have outscored Hamilton in the standings and he hasn’t.

If George really was that great he wouldn't have made so many silly errors like yesterday and would have a margin over Lewis in the championship despite Britain and Belgium. I've said multiple times this year that the problem at Mercedes is the drivers half the time if not more. I mean I've given Russell 4 Of the weeks this year and 5 equals a final warning. Russell probably finishes 3rd at best at Britain if he doesn't DNF that race. Would've been close with Norris for 3rd at the end I believe. Belgium he effectively lost 32 points to Hamilton. Yeah that's nearly 50 points but that doesn't excuse how erratic and inconsistent he's been at times this season.

Both Sauber drivers are now outside the top 20 in the championship standings, yet Bottas said in pre season testing that the car feels good 😂
