I'm not christian but this theme fits perfectly with the vibes of dark messiah ("antichrist") & his 12 disciples ... which is quite fitting given the symbolism of chrollo & the number of members of the troupe being 13
The 99 version theme is just superior. By just listening to it u can predict what it is trying to tell u about Chrollo's character, even without knowing nothing about him. An enigma of a character, mysterious, lost luxurious, struggler... It's just perfect.
if only hunter x hunter 2011 had the same art style of the 1999 version its so mature and beautiful all anime from the 90s art style are awesome (dbz,yu yu yakushu,evangelion,inuyasha,slam dunk, rurouni kenshin...etc)
Togashi wrote all of the filler in the 1999 version and it was made by the same studio who produced the Ruroni Kenshin anime , Modern anime can’t really be compared to the quality and budget anime got in the 90s

Lucifer always reads books cuz he want to collect all knowledges of the world and universe and store them in his big head, lucifer reads books not just in this anime, but also its in mythology. Because he rebelled against God, he is only interested in the material world and its knowledge that is wrote into books. He striving to get better by everyday. Lucifer in world trying to find all demons and make a rebelious group with them to control and manipulate whole world. Lets just say he have hidden powers inside him that can take down whole earth.
