*EARLY ARRIVAL AT FIRE IN MD WITH PPL ON FIRE ESCAPE- JAMAICA QUEENS

At 17:26 the FDNY was alerted to a report of smoke on the 5th floor of the address 89-19 171 ST. There was then numerous calls from 5 different apartments at the address all reporting smoke. E298 made entry and found fire in an apartment on the 5th floor and BN50 transmitted the 10-75. All hands operated and the fire was placed PWH in about a half hour. E298 & TL127 were first due.
