Hey! Thanks for the video, I had the power wand 5.0 and I love it, I use it for lining, shading and color whitout a problem. Do you think the Torc 5.0 it’s more aggressive than the bishop with the same stroke? I tried the torc 4.2 and I find it ver similar to the bishop.
I thought it was a slightly more forgiving hit. It’s still very powerful. But with the wand liner I felt like I was going to really hurt my client. With this I know I could hurt them but it’s not like I’m going to bust a hole in them right away haha
Do you feel like there's any difference between the bishop liner or the torque liner? I have all 3 bishop machines and i'm quite happy with all 3 of them but i'm always looking for something better. Cheers Tyler.
There is definitely a difference. I’m not sure if it’s the way the machine hits or if it’s the extra weight of the torque but I definitely like it better than the wand
I see, thanks for sharing! I bought the Stainless steel grip for my liner and it definitely helped me line better with the extra weight, so could be it. I wonder if they're the exact same motors.@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial
Did the 4.2 feel different for you too? I mostly use the packer as an allrounder, only use the liner for a lot of fat linework or bigger RL dotwork.@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial
Hey :-) I'm watching your videos for some time and i found one crazy machine just begging you to review it :-) It is hylabtattoo defender :-) 13500rpm beast, reminds me avenger 2 pro but only 140usd. I think many of us just praying someone like u to make defenders comparison to avenger 2 pro
I want to say I appreciate your responses my guy, love your vids, very helpful. So I did that viking tribal bear on my thigh like I told, your words of being tough kept running through my head lol. It was a pain in the ass to get the outside lines, only did the outline no shading yet. 5.0? Isn't that a bit more punch than needed? I was pulling lines with 4.0 and......DAMN lol
@jameswojooffical Great review. I've been away from the scene for just over a year and am opening a new shop. thank you for helping me move to the Pen machines. Retiring my old Neotat LOL
Hmm I’ll have to see what I can do.. only problem is a lot of these machines you can’t really open up. Which means there is no way to clean them. Certain ones to open up easy tho
I’m trying to think.. if you want to find one of those no name brand ones you could find one on eBay or Ali express. Who knows how long the motor will last for you but I’m sure you could find one on one of those sites.
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial yeah, I mean I do have one from AliExpress that is a knock off of the Dan Cuban V3 or I think it is and I mean it hits pretty good but it’s just not what I expected. It’s a pain in the ass attitude I mean I’ve tattooed myself with it, and it pushes in and out nine round liner. With ease at 4 1/2 V so it’s not too bad but I’ve eventually kind of want to purchase the ARX wave it looks exactly like the Bishop Parawan very similar a little bigger very similar in battery but that’s also $1000 machine but it comes with a 4.8 stroke
Thanks ! I’ve been wanting to try one of those out, but the last few months I’ve been playing catch up on a lot of stuff. But I will eventually get around to it!
You definitely should, with the new 2.5mm and 5.0mm strokes, for a fixed interchangeable stroke, it's way easier to change the strokes than an adjustable one after it's been carefully wrapped up to ones desired stroke and replacing the bandages or loosening it to change the strokes, don't know if it's just me but I wrapped the whole machine tightly to prevent cross contamination, in the ACUS M1 you just have to unscrew the grips and change the strokes, it's that easy, I loved it even though I'm a coil guy, and thanks for introducing me to the Vlad Blad, loved that beast of a machine even though I used ACUS on my channel, used the Vlad Blad for high end clients/tattoos off camera🤘🏻
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial oh I see what about vibration comparison?Which one has more vibrations? Thanks for replying me.I think you are the only guy at TH-cam replying to everyone as every question!Keep up the good work!
@@AlexandrosNikolakis vibration wise I think the torque might be smoother. I haven’t used the want in a while tho. Neither one are really high vibration at all
@black_bike_jonny Always great reviews. I've been thinking about getting this machine so I'm glad to see you post about it.

@@JOKE485 I never tried the packer, but the 4.2 torque is great too.
Looking for dedicated liner. You prefer the torque 5.0 or bishop liner?
Great channel too. Appreciate the hard work. ✌️
@ataraxiavis came here looking for 5.0 stroke machine reviews
Can we get a review of the Tat Soul x Critical Direct Drive Rotary please!

I'll check it out! I have seen that in passing but never really looked at it
how do lines heal up in the long run with a stroke that not
Really well if you use it properly

I wanna get my hands on this machine.. :);). As always my dude 👍🏻. N just cuz @dave_lostsoul_tattoos
Is it about the same as the wand liner for large groupin lines?
I like it better than the wand liner all around honestly
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial thanks mate
Sick im liking lining with the bishop wand liner might give this a chance
2 perfect machines ohh, that's my dream 😅
@jamesohahn thank you for the videos. Keep up the great content.
Thanks for the info man!
Would you do a video about how to clean the inside of a (dirty would be even better) machine? I think it's worthy 👍

Does Prime grip fit on a Torque body?
Hmmm didn’t try. I’ll try when I get to the shop
It does not. Different threads
Thanks. I thought that disposable Prime grip is already disposable version for both machines@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial
@@TattooShopTalk I didn’t try the disposable on the torque. But the metal one doesn’t work so I’m guessing unless they have an adapter they don’t fit
makes sense@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial
👍👍👍
Wand liner or this is the best?
I prefer this because of the weight of it I think
