Super fun mode, play it much more than the main game. Just remember that:
Real life popularity doesn't translate to instant success. As in; having the Rock return on your show doesn't really help unless he has a rivalry lined up.
Specialists are the best as they can fight everyone.
Charity promos are super useful if behind in ratings.
Tag team matches are good for variety but hard to build into a decent fued as you can't use promos to enhance them and one person can get injured messing it all up.
Don't feel obliged to stick to your draft wrestlers, especially if you're doing a longer game. You can easily bring in 2 legends 5 weeks before Wreslemania for a 5 star fued.
Don't feel you have to agree to all the wrestler or HHHs requests. Especially if its a mid carder who all of a sudden wants a main event or HHH wants you to rest your champions.
Training up Jobbers as new stars can be fun but even on a 50 week game not really worth it.

Sometimes you get lucky though and a jobber will get like a 30 point popularity rub. I agree though mostly if you're struggling to raise them up then it's not worth it

I understand how romen can be a good bruiser but in my opinion I like using drew because there are more heel fighters with higher pop like Finn or John so romens a good pick but he isn’t my first pick

The way I do my rise mode is I use William on smack down and I save my money by only using people like drew and Finn as my champ rivalry and then for the rest of my male wrestlers would be like Kalisto to slapjack or Samoa joe to jey uso and I make sure I have 2 specialists, 2 fighters, and one face bruiser because I get a another bruiser for free with Williams power card, than I make sure one of the two guys on each role would be a face and the other would be a heel. Do the same thing with the female wrestlers and I use a math my mother taut me and when I’m singing or buying someone or something I think to myself “if I can’t afford to buy it twice, than don’t buy it” and that’s all what I do. If I’m playing in medium or hard mode than I usually don’t use that motto because of tag teams but I make sure that I stop spending when I reach 100 or lower on my draft, it’s another reason why I use William regal with his power card to sign a legend An example of my most recent my gm mode is: drew McIntyre, Finn balor, Xavier woods, romen reigns, chad gable, riddle, randy orton, Otis. The first week is great but they don’t get you enough money in the beginning to make a real talent pool so after week 15 your now repeating matches and match types because the choices are so limited. The cost of some things are too expensive also
