If you were simply looking at it from a "Human" perspective you would not note the obvious contradiction between committing the ultimate evil in order to get to "Heaven." Because that is simply a Christian way of thinking. In Christianity that is an obvious contradiction. In the Islamic religion, it is not. So yes, you are looking at it through the lens of monotheistic western religions like Christianity and Judaism, whether you are secular or not. Brandon Glover No, in my opinion they should just sentence them to an extautionate amount of time behind bars like 200/300 years (ultimately a life sentence). They are unable to cause harm to public and they have to sit in a tiny room for the rest of there time on earth. The only problem is that if they were put in prison, other than the previous comment they'd have it pritty easy as the British government "apparently" (Quote on quote) has xbox's and play stations along with tv ' s (ext). To me they should all be left completely separate from one another, only seeing the prison guards the rest of their life and only fed bread and water. I'm sorry if people disagree with me but the uk has homeless commiting crime just to get into prison. You carn't tell me that that's punishing criminals, people have it worse on the outside world and they go to work 8 hours a day for the majority of the week.

@Deutschland Über Alles and for the verses 9:29 It says to fight those living under the region of islamic rule until they pay tribute that is a law don't make it complicated if they live in islamic state without being muslims they must pay tribute nothing inhumaine here lets comtinue 9:73 The story here is about the hypocrites at the time of our prophet whom converted to islam for safety and when the muslims were attacked they changed side immediately and back stabbed the muslim so this verse were brought from our lord this two verses 73 & 74 are a specific order for that specific time it doesn't apply after that...you may ask if it didn't apply now then why isn't it discarded? Because it's gods words we can't add or remove a single letter, for your third verse which is the obvious one 5:33 Says" what those who fight against muslims and want to cause destruction on the world deserve to be executed or decapitated...." i feel stupid to explain this since it explained itself they verse strictly says to fight those who are fighting you and want to cause destruction ot doesn't say the disbelievers it doesn't say the hypocrites it strictly said to fight those who are fighting you, i hope this unveils some misconceptions i still want your honest reply on what you think may allah give us better understanding of his quran

I have a unique perspective being that I've dealt with MANY of these kids in Iraq. I truly believe he's sorry for what he was going to do. I also believe that being homeless played a huge part in his decision. I'm sure that IS promised to take care of his siblings if he carried out the attack. I get what your trying to say but don't you think if he was at this point isis have already got into his head. All your doing by imprisoning him for 50 years is giving him time to consider what he still probably deep down believes is the way to heaven. When he gets out he'll still do it as if he's willing to die he's obviously going to do it when he gets out
Brandon Glover No, in my opinion they should just sentence them to an extautionate amount of time behind bars like 200/300 years (ultimately a life sentence).

I have a unique perspective being that I've dealt with MANY of these kids in Iraq. I truly believe he's sorry for what he was going to do. I also believe that being homeless played a huge part in his decision. I'm sure that IS promised to take care of his siblings if he carried out the attack. Maybe he was tortured or brainwashed for several years from young age. There are hundreds of other reasons for which a man could break. This boy has probably no idea how big the world is, all he must have seen is how his people are being killed.
