Note that Julie has been infected for quite some time now. As she dies she sees a vision of Miller and the sparrow even though she's never set eyes on either one before.
(No spoiler) Theres a great quote from Holden about the protomolecule in the books: "It killed humans, therefore it was a weapon. But radiation killed humans, and a medical X-ray machine wasn’t intended as a weapon. Holden was starting to feel like they were all monkeys playing with a microwave. Push a button, a light comes on inside, so it’s a light. Push a different button and stick your hand inside, it burns you, so it’s a weapon. Learn to open and close the door, it’s a place to hide things. Never grasping what it actually did, and maybe not even having the framework necessary to figure it out. No monkey ever reheated a frozen burrito."
>Did you notice when we first saw Frank Degraaf that he was using a pencil on a paper notebook instead of a phone/pda? (I didn't notice either, at first watch). That bit of apparent eccentricity wasn't so eccentric--it hid the fact that his pencils were data devices. >Notice that Holden has never killed anyone before. >When Miller caught the kid Diogo stealing water, Diogo mentioned that the big gangsters had all been called from Ceres to Eros for some special work.
Kirk Darling. Re: Pencils. Data/comms devices are made of a material called "graphene." (As mentioned when Naomi was rechristening the Tachi as the Rocinante.) Pencil cores are made of graphite. Apparently the two are similar enough for purposes of smuggling data.
first time i watched The Expanse as it aired i missed a fair bit, didnt pay too much attention, by the time i finished season 3 and had my mind blown, i had to go back and absorb as much as i could from seasons 1&2. its definitely easier to binge watch.
That and much much more. We have billionaires today. In 200 year's time there will be trillionaires. Mao even buildt himself a private fleet of warships.
Am I dreaming? Elf Queen and amiable bro have released TWO expanse reactions? No no no I'm gonna wake up and find out this is all some dream... Right guys?
Critical mass is when you have enough fissionable material to maintain a nuclear reaction. Go above critical mass and you get a runaway or chain reaction (ie, your nuclear plant has a huge meltdown or your bomb goes boom). So in my mind, critical mass as a title indicates that events have gathered enough energy that they're just going to play out and there's not a whole lot anyone can do to stop them. Which is pretty much what happens in this episode and in the next lol
I don't think the "if it's wet, don't touch it" means don't let it get wet, it means don't touch it if it is "gooey" as opposed to hardened and dried out.
Ah Miller and Holden bonding like internal struggle of Don Quixote aspect, both are two face of the same coin. Bush Naval Shipyard is military contractor complex, that used by element of Earth military and mostly independent contractors(like Julie's father). Independent military contractors and gov. always playing cat and mouse, really evident too(look at USA and Russia for example) so it was no wonder that Chrisjen doesnt know eventhough it was on Luna(UN territory), I know a story about a monkey and a microwave but dont know about a couple and a series, yet 😆😆We can only learn(enjoy) by letting they learn🤣🤣 No worries Sonny you came upfront about having seen the series. And it is enjoyable too when we see revelations come across your face and you tried to hold it up inside😅😅. Coz nobody seen everything when they watch this series the 1st time around. Yet Kat is smart vamparina catch many in her first. Now into the next, thanks.
The Bush Navel Shipyards are on Luna not Earth (great catch, most miss that)Julie wanted to steal it for Dawes, thinking it was something they could use or atleast be able to keep it out of the hands of people that would use it against belters. My fave S1 ep. Thanks for wrapping up the season today 💜 Any news about the patreon yet?
For some fathers there children and important and not just science science project, To use a space station full of people to see what happens is next to murder. How fare will he go to insure his was of thinking, is it money or power something much greater.
Double Episode drop? You just made my weekend.
Thanks for doing The Expanse, this show will blow your mind more and more!
Note that Julie has been infected for quite some time now. As she dies she sees a vision of Miller and the sparrow even though she's never set eyes on either one before.
i guess I'm quite randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to watch new series online ?
Really glad you guys picked this series, it just gets better from here!
Me too, and so glad that Amazon saved it! How could anyone not react positively to this series? Season 4 drops in December and it's so hard to wait.

Great review! You're going to love what comes next! Going to jump to your S1:E10 review now!
Yeah Luna is an Earth colony
also love your reactions!
J-P Mao is the Owner/CEO of Mao-Kwiatkowski Incorporated, which owns the Busch shipyards as well as Protogen and the Security Corporation on Eros.

oh they pick the belters specifically. eros is a closed environment,
8:22 best reaction. ever. You two couldn't have reacted any more differently. Love it. :-)

I'm loving Kat's makeup. Very striking and ethereal, like a fae noblewoman.

I think it's wonderful that finally, in Kat, the undead can have a channel on youtube.
Are you suggesting that I am a vampire???
YAAAAAASS!!!! Love you guys!
