Those are gorgeous, Ed. I recently did a mon mon cross using your grab and drag method. It took a little getting the hang of but I found it effective. Gracias hermano 🙏🏻
Those are NICE looking, Ed! I did a few 1:1 tubs and there were so so many pins, pins everywhere, and they seemed to get choked out and stopped growing. Is it possible to have too many pins? Or did I have poor atmospheric conditions that caused this to happen? Thanks Ed!
I have the same problem with some cultigens. That is why I am experimenting with spawn ratios. I have some cultigens that pin so much, then just die out.
I don't have anything cool like that but I just spawned more tw yesterday one is 2:1 and one 3:1, all my current tw pins have that exploded top look, even on second flush. Weird looking. I though maybe it wasn't getting enough air butt I moved them into a open room and the caps are still exploding or growing shit out of the top on second flush. 😂 Thanks for the video bro, even your short vids are packed with info. 🍄❤️
These look phenomenal! I see a lot of little babies hiding under the caps on the 1:1 tub. Could you harvest only the large fruit and continue letting the small ones grow? Or is it just better to harvest flushes all at once? Thanks again for another awesome vieo!
Man you put out the most informative videos, even if they are short. I have been thinking of doing similar experiments with the spawn bags. Do you trade or run giveaways or sell swabs n prints. 😊 You are 1 of like 3 creatures on TH-cam that i leave notifications on 🐇🍄🫶
Hey Ed 👋, I was curious when you boil your coco before you make your shoeboxes how long do you boil it for ? I did they same 1/3 1/1 versions and I had the same results bigger less fruits and more smaller fruits
Right on that’s way easier than the previous versions I’ve tried , your methods look very successful and not complicated, appreciate all the videos you post , thank you
When the co2 levels get up to 3000 does that affect the growth of the fruits? I’m wondering if I’m trying to hard to keep the levels down to 1000-1700ppm
@@BunnerzLoverz That is a giant question, but I think people think too much about CO2. As long as the surface is getting some kind of air movement, the CO2 is probably gonna dissipate. I bought a $85 CO2 gauge/meter years ago. Turns out it was a fake, but looked nice :( But I wouldn't worry about it unless you grow looks like an aging room at a distillery. LOL
@@edwardgrand ok I won’t worry about it as much anymore , I think I’m going to put a vapor barrier in my room so can raise the humidity without ruining the house or just buy a bunch of tents 🏕️
I'm assuming you've concluded albino/trickier strains are better at closer to 1:1(please correct me if thats wrong).... What have you decided is your best ratio for standard ABC strains? 1/2 or 1/3ish?
Yes. They use very little electricity and don't produce much heat. LED strip lights. Cheap too. But it's not necessary. I just find it easier to leave them on.

Wondering what 2nd flush would have?
Amazing video, lots of great information.
You think a higher sub ratios provide better moisture content?
1:5 or 1:6 is better than 1:3. Lower, depending on how you write the ratio.
@edwardgrand is 1:3 better than 1:1 in your opinion?
@@devilsadvocate1338 yes
@@edwardgrand sweet, thanks for responding 🤘

But is it really a problem? 🙃
@@raiden72 Yes, because they die out and only produce a few fruits
@@edwardgrand Thanks, Ed. I am having better success with 1:2 and 1:3

In this case, it is better all at once. They're too crowded. Babies would get damaged.
Do you do a casing layer? I ask because I notice the 1:3 tub isn't like fully white covered on top.
Yes. I do a pseudocasing. I put them into fruiting tent after like 4 days incubation.

Thanks for watching and the kind comments. I do have some swabs and prints at: sporeswaps.com/vendors/dr-eds-spore-shop/

@@edwardgrand looking forward to ordering soon 🤪👍
Why no 1 to 2
No need. Just wanted to test low and high. Not enough room.
Awesome! So it seems that more spawn results in a more crowded grow with smaller fruit verses less spawn with larger fruit less crowded. Hmmmmm🤔

I boil the coir on full boil for about 20 minutes. Takes a while to heat up though. So probably 40 minutes total.

No. I run everything at 1:1 unless I'm doing some experiment.
KSAT are very pretty I got them from Dave thinking they were ape king but instead got KSAT
Beauties 😍
Do you keep your lights on 24/7 in your fruiting tent?

So more sub = more fruit
No, more spawn equals more fruit, up to about the 1-1 ratio.
Plenty of people fruit 1:4 or lower ratio and get fine results
Yep, I routinely do 1:3 and get fine harvests and huge fruits... But no glamour shots to humble brag on and fool the dupes.
