This was amazing. I had the best view. I saw them last about 4 years at Shoreline in mountain view ca. So much better, John Mayer is a lot more amazing. They played the best songs as well. The best show no matter what anybody says. The best thank you to Dead and company for a great time ❤❤❤❤
This brings back memories of all my Dead Head friends in the Black Hills of South Dakota from when I lived there in the late eighties. Wouldn't be surprised if some of them end up at some of these shows. I spent countless hours listening to Dead "Boots" almost every weekend. This sounds incredible to me but I've never felt the same about them after Jerry passed. It's like my own favorite band the Stones, never been the same since Charlie passed! I guess the bottom line is that I'm getting old and I miss my old friends and the great musicians and performers who have passed away! The music and carefree days of my past are now but memories that always get jogged when I see and hear something like this! I do have to say though that to experience "visuals" like this at a Dead concert in the Sphere under the influence of those substances that we took back in those days must be absolutely INCREDIBLE!!
Little disappointed they didn’t do more visual for this song. Love what I’ve been seeing. Hopefully the keeping at as the residence goes on. And Keep it fresh

Saw them a few nights before this show. They had different visuals that night. A full animated train going through the hills and Terrapin. Lasted the whole song and transitioned to negative colors half way through. Was awesome!
I have been to a lot of shows in my day from 74-94 but that is trippy! are they letting tapers in? how did Bob look? I really thought he was done at this point. I saw Dead and Company here in Jersey, took my son to his fist show. It rained all night. don't like JM and would have liked to see Trevor or another taking Jerry's place but there is no taking his place is there?

LoL, probably true...But their stage kit and show is pretty jazzy anyway. And after watching all of the Stones clips from Hackney Diamonds tour and a lot of D&C's, there's no doubt in my mind about which band is more exciting. Even Elvis would be envious of Mick. Nobody outdoes the effing Stones for rocknroll, and this is coming from a tiedyed to the bones DH. Mick is 80 and look at the energy and vibrance he displays! He da man!

"There's nothing like a Grateful Dead concert" In the late 80's I remember David Crosby introducing the Dead at a NYE run show, "one of greatest rocknroll bands there ever was" and he was right. But then again we could say that about the RS too, except we might go so far as to say THE greatest rocknroll band that ever was. We've had debates about this with me alternating sides. Come on, from Ruby Tuesday, Backstreet Girl, to Wild Horses, Angie, Midnight Rambler, Gimme Shelter, Can't ya hear me Knockin, Honky Tonk Women, Girl with Far Away Eyes, Some Girls, Start Me Up, on and on...NOBODY except Dylan has the range of great songs and size of catalogue that the Glimmer Twins has given us. Not even our beloved Garcia/Hunter. But the Dead were our backyard band from the beginning, and interwoven into the fabric of our Bay Area lives for decades. So many roads....
nice show im sure but im am really happy with my last greatful dead show not a fan of the slow remake of some great songs the company plays what is with bobby talking lyrics ?
They have been playing at a slower tempo for some years now. Bobby needs time to wind up for the next verse, though he kept up a more lively tempo when I saw him with his band, summer '22. If Mayer had more umph, he could make up for it but he doesn't. JK would have been a better musical choice for this band.
Please quit using the skeleton graphics night after night ,it steals from the Magic, just give us pictures of the cosmos space or a black screen. We love you so much, but it cheats us from the real Magic we love, it’s the music, the Magic, the not knowing,not simple skeletons and the big DEAD FOREVER exclamation point at the end, we know who you are and where we’ve been together, it’s not needed, We Love You that’s enough,the end. Once again, very weak visuals. Where is the creativity? They must have been done by a non-Deadhead. Def not worth the hype or price of admission. They need to fire the lighting director NOW!
Uh, did you see the Phish run? Half of that was as you describe...worse in that they were often not even related to the songs in most cases and they spent a year planning/producing them. She (creative director) should be replaced for sure. D&Cs graphics are far more engaging and related to the songs.

Restricted vocal range...it happens with age. Steve Perry doesn't even try anymore.
