Which type of camshaft arrangement used in TVs Apache RTR 160 4v bs6?
Gixxer 155 (Carb variant - 2017 edition), slight sluggishness when given a sudden throttle at 3000 RPM (for ~2 seconds), speed increases well after that all the way to the red line. Same behaviour in 2, 3, 4 gears. What could be the reason?

Dohc engine me dual camsaft rhti h toh wha pr ek camshaft ka load extra ho jata h jisse km pickup milta h aur pickup bhi high rpm pr milta h top speed bhi km ho jati h jese ki cbr 150 whi sohc m light weight sath m single camsaft jese ki r15 v 1,2, m aur phir dekhlo cbr v/s r15 krke kon win hota h aur r15 average bhi bdiya deti h . Dohc me ek cheez shi h comfort mast ati h no vibration and engine long life chlte h chahe unhe kede bhi chalao... so i think sohc performance k liye h dohc comfort k liye shi h in only single cylinder bike k liye aur 4 cylinder engine m to dual camsaft hi ati h .
SOHC has limitations whereas DOHC rev higher and make more power.

Very well explained. Its always good to learn new things in simple language. Sometimes these technologies donot translate in the real world. Specifically when we consider quater litr engines. These Suzukis and yamahas with sohc setups are killing it compare to bajaj's dohc😅

Can you tell me why engine sound changed for pulser after arrival of NS 200 and in Apache after arrival of RTR 200 4v?? I loved old sounds of Pulser and Apache during 2010s, new bikes sound screaming lacks bass. Can someone explain why?
