To all folks here....you all would have known about the MotoGP...racing...it's all about competition between riders and the manufactures....so lot of R&D and refinement and engineering goes into the process..in which Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, Ducati, Honda, Suzuki etc have excelled...so comparing Indian brands with Japanese brands is like comparing an amature body builder with Arnold....

What i feel is.. if you want a comfortable ride and value for money package.. go for indian brand.. and if you want low maintenance and long lasting smooth ride.. go for the foreign brands.. because choosing a bike not depends on whether the bike is good or not.. but it basically depends on your needs what you want and what you can afford..😀

For your kind information, if someone purchases, for ex. R15 V3 and ns200 on the same day and from that particular day, both bikes are tortured like hell without maintenance. See the difference after 2 to 3 years. NS goes to scrapyard and r15 V3 still continues to rule the street. Being engineer and seeing the manufacturing process I can tell you.. Indian 2wheeler manufacturers still does not go with quality equipments. It is way below international standard. And thus not durable. Where as Japanese have better quality. Material(steel material) and built(heavy) is good in Indian bikes but equipment level is low.

@Vinayak Nikam yes I have used pulsar 150.. Moreover for example.. There is one supplier in Pune who supplies same component to Bajaj as well as Honda and Hero... Same component is costlier to Hero/Honda and Bajaj opts for cheaper version... It includes electric hardwired and even some mechanical components. The raw materials are of good quality with those Japanese brands. In India TVS and Hero (has clues from Honda) has slightly better quality.

Dude People in India mostly love the Engine and Aerodynamics of their 2 Wheeler not their fuel efficiency. Because Indian roads aren't good enough to get excellent mileage for any 2 wheeler (incl. Potholes and traffic). Only a few of the Highways are in good condition to get mileage.
Indian people now are seeing more storage space in their 2 wheeler(scooty).
But giving hats_off to all companies who are taking serious risks in upgrading their product to the upmost level.

The best part is the customers get the more choices. The diversity of India is so great that it reflects in the motorcycle market in India. Now even European giants have entered.
