Literally best way to describe what I’m going through (with the negative voices)

      How are you coping now?

Wonder Woman now when it’s overbearing I grab a paper and write down everything I hear until there’s no more to write and then they go silent (usually this is two pages long).
Or I take CBD which is a legal extract from marijuana that you can find online. It’s amazing for anxiety and calms you instantly when vaping the product. It helps me with stress and helps me slow down when my mind is racing.
(Don’t worry it’s legal in all 50 states because it doesn’t contain any THC levels which is the psychoactive component in marijuana)

That paper idea is a good one, I might steal it from you. I’m trying to rely on natural remedies at the moment because I don’t want to be dependent on drugs. I’m doing meditation twenty minutes twice a day, seems to be keeping me afloat. I wish you well, and I’m glad you’ve found affective ways of keeping the anxiety away

All invisible illnesses need to be taken seriously. Treatment needs to be improved, 6/8 sessions with first step is not going to be enough to treat a mental illness.

Ruby is right and it feels like no one is listening.

Good analogy it’s hard when family just don’t understand. I turn to alcohol to help me cope but it doesn’t mix well with my medication.. recently all I have wanted to do is sleep, watch crappy tv and stay in bed. It’s a real force for me to do anything.

Well said. I have been having very low mood recently and the analogy of the shower is spot on. All I want to do is sleep the whole day.. I feel like I am in a black hole and there’s no light.

very true. I was afraid to go to the bathroom. For months. And it's not just about beeing sad. It's about beeing desperate. Without any reason. You can never explain it to someone who hasn't been through it. My last depression lasted for 8 years. Every day getting the courage to get out of bed to start another day. This is a disease beyond believe.

Depression is debilitating physically too. Tourette's is an interesting comment.
