What a great job!! I learned more from you than I have with others. Great job of taking your time on the pointers of for us. I hope that other guitar instructors watch this. Thanks a million.
LOL $35.00 for 1 pick hahahahahahahaha... wait... hahahahahaha... wow, people are paying this? I'm sorry, wait... hahahahahahaha... that's it, that's all I got... well maybe some confusion as to why. Vpicks are as cool and reasonable... 35 bucks holy come on molly
You made my day..............I've been looking all over for a good basic "strumming lesson" that doesn't concentrate so much on chord change, and sticks with the actual strumming pattern that really brings out the "music"........Thanks for posting!!!
I don't play country music, but I'm studying your lesson. This is a great lesson to improve your rhythm playing no matter what style of music you play. You provide great instruction.
Devin you are magic in the way you strum, this is the best eg. of strumming and it's going to make a big difference. Thank you for your patience. You Are The GREATEST!
Awesome, glad it helped out! Here's a link to my strumming course if you're interested countryguitaronline.com/classic-country-and-bluegrass-strumming-patterns-course-outline/ Have a good one! - Devin
I had the same exact problem as you had in holding the pick for almost 10 years! It was so frustating, but I wasn't able to figure out where I was wrong, and being a soloist mostly plaing metal music made things even worst! I was asking to friends, trying to find videos on picking techniques, but nothing worked. Once I was quite down about that thing and I asked God to let me understand where the problem was, and suddenly I found a video of Paul Gilbert explaining few exercises, and in this video he explains that he had the same problem as me and you had! So I changed the way of holding the pick not to the tip of the index finger but to its side, and thank God I've improved rapidly from that day! And now I want to learn some country because it's amazing!
hi I'm a country Vocalist and American songwriter from Oakdale CA Im 23 and getting alot of good ideas I use strum pattern six Alot And Four But I use alot of different types of strumming ,Each pattern Changes the feel of your songs and once you get around a drummer you can hear what the drums will sound like When your writing music This guy is Awsome I've learned lot started playing when I was 13 and writing in my late teens and I've learned more being professional and in the music industry then if I keep my music a hobby, Thanks for this video I've gotten more ideas to use for writing more songs I got a record coming out your video inspired me to write more songs Godbless

Being extremely adhd it's often hard for me to find teachers that can teach me in a way that i understand and remember. Ive learned more from your videos then I learned in 100's of $ of lessons. I was a drummer for 10 years and when i moved into an apartment i decided id like to learn guitar to express the music in me with out taking space and its easier to sing with. Learning how to play the music i feel is so rewarding after months of practice. I have to say your videos helped tremendously, you certainly have a gift! Keep up the good work. Sharing your knowledge and talents and helping others and having a great time going it.. im inspired! Thank you, god bless! -Rock N CaROLL

Nice! It's pretty amazing how smooth the bluechip picks sound...especially when you find the sweet spot at the right angle. I dropped mine down the slot in a wooden patio one time..lured it out with a set of chopsticks with masking tape on the end. Seems crazy to pay $35 but totally worth it. Glad you like it
