Perfect tutorial. I've been struggling with this for so long and finally found someone who knows what they're talking about. Thank you so much. Is there a tutorial for cutting out holes in an image. I have a photo of someone who is sitting cross-legged meditating, and there are two areas under their arms that I need to remove to show the background. Hope that this makes sense. Thanks again from Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Thank You for the Kind Words.
Yes, instead of cutting out the subject you're cutting out the background.
You can use the same approach demonstrated here, just in reverse.

Yours are my favorite videos explaining this background removal, so thank you very much! A minor problem is that some of the icons you mentioned clicking on to put in a background layer with "+" icon and moving ithe layer down are HIDDEN BEHIBND THE IMAGE OF YOU and this was confusing as I could not see what you were clicking on. Same thing for icon to bring up "Create a New Layer" You talk about it being in the bottom LEFT corner but again it is hidden by your image and you are actually working in the bottom RIGHT corner of the screen, the "+" icon being bottom right of screen, and lEFT hand icon of that cluster which the viewer cannot see. A larger mouse icon might also make it easier to see where you are moving to on the screen :-)

Looking forward to more videos. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Please do explain other terminologies like the alpha channel. And also how some of the tools work. God bless
