    Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
    our life our sweetness and our hope.
    To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
    To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
    Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
    O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
    Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

      @@tony1685 Queen of Heaven tony our Blessed Mother, the scales will fall from your eyes soon, I will ask our Holy Queen to intercede for you as well as all the angels and saints, even St Paul tried to persecute the Church and look what happened him, you will not succeed in snatching one sheep or scattered the flock that has been allocated to the Son by the Father, keep trying if you wish but your efforts are futile and pathetic when you consider that God Church ie the Holy Catholic Church who will never fall to the gates of hell, hell is where people lock the door from the inside. You need confession and absolution from a Catholic priest and the Holy Eucharist, hard teaching I know for you but let he who has ears let him hear. Do some research on our Blessed Mother in scripture you may be pleasantly surprised, what's you denomination tony, if you won't say your denomination then it could only be that you know its not the fullness of Truth.

    Loved Paul’s “Strong Tone” kind of like Father James Altman’s “manner and tone”
    (not comparing the two...just both preaching the truth at all cost)

    It's very difficult as a single Catholic man to maintain custody of the eyes with the way women dress these days - leggings, yoga pants, short skirts, skimpy bathing suits; for me it's very enticing but even otherwise pious Catholic women embrace these styles. I struggle with averting my eyes obviously though it's my responsibility to do so but is there no responsibility to dress modestly?

      Don't trust the Devil when he says if you don't look you won't find a wife. The one has nothing to do with the other. Avert your eyes and trust in the Lord. Rather, pray for a good wife and seek her out not as desperate to satisfy your urges but as wanting a helper and to help someone reach heaven (ie to share her cross and those of your future children). And if you remain single, that is better for you. Never mind others' responsibility, they do not excuse you as you know. I myself wonder about my responsibility, seeing as I work out, and wish women would tell me what not to do. But in comparison, there is a lot of instruction to women what they shouldn't wear, that they may not be willing to seek out due to our fallen nature, but also because women seek approval of men and most men are fallen men who let their instincts guide their judgment rather than virtue (and besides, the weather is hot outside right now you have to grant that). Anyway, not being willing to even innocently enjoy female beauty is one of three things which Jesus used to completely liberate me from onanism. The other two are complete surrender to Him and confession.

    Dr Bergsma it would be nice to hear you clear the doubts of speaking jibberish and calling it tongues or language of angels. The noise the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement makes calling it a language.
