Hi 😀 you have such lovely quilt shops in your area. Nothing like that in the South. We have a great fabric store in Maitland but is not a “quilt” store like that, those don’t survive here. Had a wonderful shop up the road from me , went out of business and another in Deland, she retired after many years. It was a quilt shop but nothing inspiring like the ones up North. I am living my life vicariously through you 😂. Thank you for sharing ❤️

I spent many summers in a town about 10 minutes from merril. Always was such a treat to get to go into the fabric store with my grandma when she would go.
I use a 12 x 12 clear envelope that is really used to store scrapbook paper to keep all my blocks together for a BOM. It has a little string closer. Just love your videos ! Thanks Anna an G !

For example Logan and Brigham City Utah. I'll be going through there on my way to Seattle WA. I'll be stopping at the quilt shop in Idaho. Block of the month are great. I have quite a few myself. it is so hard when we lose our precious fur babies :( it is a pre cut fusible whale that I place onto a batik. I don't know the pattern or maker but I remember I bought it at a quilt shop in Poulsbo WA and they carry all kinds so you could google them.

I love getting mail so my BOM`s too. Some I do as soon as they come but others are like yours. I have a note book where I write the names with numbers and cross them off as they come so know where I am. I try to keep them together.What a beautiful doll. What a blessing. I so love those dolls too.
I’m a BOM’aholic myself. I try to stay current but life sometimes gets in the way. It’s like Christmas waiting for the mailman. I put each of my monthly’s in its own plastic box that I get at Michaels. I set aside a week a month and go through each of the boxes until current(at least that’s the plan). It’s just fun to have projects to keep us motivated and happy. The doll looks like you when you wear pigtails. We love you Anna, G and of course Enzo!

I finally bucked up the courage to get started with wool embroidery, so I contacted your buddy Stacy West at Buttermilk Basin and am ordering a few Thimble Blossoms blocks. I'm not ready to commit to doing the whole thing yet. I'm able to order a few individual blocks and she ships to Canada!!! And I do agree with Vicki Ledwy about American shops marking mailings to Canada "gift". LOL Many thanks again, Anna.

yes...the doll is me...she has a charm with an A around her neck...and then there is the piggy tails! the fabric was used in the outfit. The crown was given to me by Ricky Tims and Alex Anderson...if you go back to the videos of me on The Quilt Show you'll see me with the crown :)
They should really pay for your gas and lunch the next time you all come for a visit to Tater Patch! Wow some big purchases there. So what did you pick up? I remember stopping for gas on a trip and as I was pumping I looked up and saw the Tater Patch across the street. I saw the Chevron station across the street as the girls were getting out of the car. Time for another visit. You got some great BOM and those bee themed gifts were lovely. Aren't you also doing the Crimson Twee BOM from Olde World Quilts? Busy lady Anna.
I don't remember when I went there. We were coming back north and I think we decided to check out Crater Lake. We may have gone to Arizona and came home via Las Vegas. I remember driving thru Likely Ca. And having a conversation that we have a Likely BC and then went thru Merrill. I used to write travel diaries before my blog so I'll have to see if I can find what year, my oldest blog post was 2008.

What I love about Dale is she feels no guilt and has not an ounce of indecisiveness! I always tell her I want to be her when I grow up, lol.
