I will probably never afford one of these, but I love being in the vire saber community. Seeing everyone's lightsabers and customization is so much fun. Everyone is so nice too.
You can also look into Rebel Sabers or Padawan Outpost, they also have very affordable Xenopixels and good reviews for those on a budget, you just have to find what works for you 😊
Probably the most helpful instruction video. I just got a xenopixel Darksaber and have been very irritated not being able to go to previous fonts, getting stuck cycling from start to finish. Also accidentally changing the mode of each blade. Thank you!
I can tell my friend loves his gift when he wasn't worried about the blade I didn't order yet and immediately started playing with the hilt's features before I got this instruction video popped up and sent to him.
Excellent video! I recently purchased an LGT ECO Neopixel lightsaber (has the purple board in the core), and updated it to DD03. All went well on that. I haven't yet added any new soundfonts, though I am really looking forward to doing that real soon. Noteworthy, in my particular case, I found that removing the microSD card to be rather cumbersome/annoying, so I decided to just simply lift out the board at an angle as it slides back and forth a bit, has some play in the wiring, which made it very easy to safely remove the microSD card without any worries or concerns of damaging/destroying it in the process.

I have LGT Sabers. My main complaint which could be factored by the hilt is the clarity of the audio. Really makes a different for voices or music. It can sound pretty muddled. I have Proffie and Asteria units which sound much better. This won't deter me from buying more since I buy them mostly for the artistry of the hilt itself. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong. Awesome video by the way.

So say the dark saber ignition i change to warp ignition by holding the button down for 3 clicks. How do i get it to have the same slow ignition of that particular font when its now rotating through the default selection of ignition fonts like hunter, warp etc. I cant seem to reset it to its default settings.
• Pop the SD card into a computer • Find folder 3 (it's the Darkblade folder) • Delete a file called config in folder 3. Whatever you do, just don't delete the configuration file in the "Set" folder. Deleting folder 3's config file will reset it to its standard settings. If you want to add a slow ignition to other fonts, you can edit that in the configuration file in the Set folder. I made Dark Lord Revisited have an ignition speed of 1200 (milliseconds), giving it the same slow effect that the Darksaber has.
With a tri-cree adapter, yes you can. It sits on top of the pins and converts the neopixel signal to RGB. You will also need a midgrade polycarbonate blade and trim about 1/4 of an inch off the bottom of the diffusion film so that the tri-cree adapter can sit inside the polycarbonate blade. They're available at the pach store and ultimate works.

As long as you don't mess around with them too much, it's a great way to keep your favourite characters sabers quickly at hand. So Kylo Ren's blade (#1) is a fiery red with a basic ignition and crackling sound. Compare that to Rey's (#2) which is a solid yellow with the scavenger ignition and basic sound.
Can you explain that issue at the end again that requires a reformat of the SD card, I have an issue with my xeno pixel sound board which I believe is either a blown speaker or that problem u mentioned

When I activated the music the lightsaber glitched out. It turned off by itself

Maybe edit to config in the "set"

Can Xenopixel boards have pre-on effects, like Reys? I know those blade effects thats already on, but besides those.
I don’t know if this applies to ALL xenopixels but those I’ve heard of can have new sounds installed but not light effects
