  • We watched at the ANZAC DAY service from home on TV and then walked into the city to see the ANZAC DAY Parade. This is just raw footage from the day walking around the city.
ANZAC Day on 25 April is a national day of remembrance and commemoration. This solemn day remembers all Australians who have served and died in war and on operational service, and the date marks the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps 1915 landing at Gallipoli, Turkey in WWI.
The ANZAC Day March begins at 9am at the intersection of Martin Place and Elizabeth Street. It travels down Elizabeth Street and finishes at the end of Hyde Park at Liverpool Street.

My heart just breaks seeing the surviving old soldiers 😢😢❤❤❤
Sadly so few today understand how much they sacrificed. ❤

We actually didnt really know what it was all about at the time, but did believe it was to make Australia a free country, but every time I go into K Mart and they want to check me going out, or at the the auto pay checkouts at Woollies or Coles where they have gaurds on and Coles has camera's in the pay machines and when if you speak your mind you are shouted down or go to the doctors and ask a question and only given ten minutes, or ask a question of a pokitician, you find out that the men and women who served have been paid off in deceit !

I am entitled to March , but I can't, I am not recognised as even being a soldier, nor a vet, there are real conspracy stories out there. I WAS a soldier and fought in a war and lost my son as well.

I am completely unwilling to denigrate my loved ANZAC friends, but this seems a bit crap, as if the disciplines and motives for the whole thing have been dropped.

I suggest contacting the RSL , organisers have options . I did so last year about the placement of the bands and other things to improve.
