There wont be any big Updates any longer, however he will keep it up2date for the foreseeable Future. That being said, starting somewhere mid 2024, as per his own Words, if this Modlist were to become in need of heavy updating due to Fallout 4 updates, he stated he would not be updating the List any longer and instead take it offline. Playing this mod list right now. Hands down, best modlist by FAR. When you factor in how much you get for how small in size the list is, it’s supremacy over others lists grows even more. I am playing on survival but with auto saves and fast travel enabled, due to not having all the time in the world for games anymore. Great experience. 60fps with a 2070 super and i7

Glorious review as ever. This mod list is heavily under rated in terms of how much of the game it changes with so little mods. Easily the best survival fallout out there and is silky smooth to play at 120 fps without issue.
wow, I was already sold on this list, as this was the overall aesthetic I was going for, and didn't want to bother modding fo4 again because of the issues I've had in the past with the creation engine, but I'm definitely getting this now. I mean, there are so many mod lists out there that are way too performance heavy and that's honestly a relief
Just found your channel today, this was a solid review that would definitely encourage or dissuade someone to install Lost World based on their own preferences. I wish you went more in depth going into each individual detail but I also realize that the vast majority of my buddies and other people in general would prefer this format of sub 15 minute review. Also this is a showcase and review not a guide to the modpack so really i'm just saying you did great and the presentation leaves other creators wanting. You crammed in a lot of information in that time and labeling and timestamping your sections is going the extra degree. A much better review than a 2 minute showcase of just the vibes that most people show off. You deserve more subs.

Thank you! And I've not yet used it but MAIM seem like a great mod that handles damage. But for something simpler, i usually use Survival Options were you can manually adjust the damage you and NPC's deal
the main point of the uneducated shooter mod is to add leaning with configurable keys, idk if this modlist disables that by default and just uses it for the weapon viewmodel inertia anims but i thought you should mention it since it would play well with the hardcore focus of this list
You convinced me to try this mod. Sounds like my type of game. EDIT: Gave it a few hours and while I love the new gameplay changes, the game does feel very empty at times. Makes combat feel so much deadlier (die in a couple of shots). However, it feels very hollow beyond the combat. While I enjoy removing all energy weapons for a more grounded experience, the visuals are perfect for my taste, but building was very vanilla. Some of the new quest mods work great for this. A solid 7/10 modlist for me. Best combat feeling for sure.
I just recently played this mod, and it was very smooth and exactly the look I go for nowadays with the stalker feel (stalker games are very unique!). But I found the balance of weapons and armor out of wack, mainly that very early I got insanely high quality armors right outside of Sanctuary alongside the guns those npcs were using. Was there something wrong with my install to screw up the loot or is that how the modlist just is? It may just be that those armor mods are imbalanced to begin with or my install was messed up. Also, the leaning just didnt work at all for me, I tried fixing it but it would never work out, not that it was a big deal but just maybe again something funky with the install...
The armor stats arent that important due to the ballistic changes. If you tested it a bit, you probably got oneshooted by a headshot anyways. The leaning didnt worked for many ppl, so its not in the modlist anymore afaik but may get added back in when/if the issue i solved. Joining the discord is pretty neat for such informations. There are a lot of helpful people, if needed.
@@Azdraugr I did start realizing that every encounter could be pretty lethal with npcs, I just didn't know if finding a super high defense outfit with like 600 to all these resistances was intended to find so early or not, and if that would make finding loot later on down the road seem useless. I should put more time into playing it to get a more solid grasp on the mod. And that makes sense with the leaning. I will definitely check out the discord thank you for that info I appreciate the response!
While I was fine with the balance myself, I imagine it’s one of those “version 1.0” things. I know they’ll keep updating the list, and with more people playing it’ll be easier for them to balance more

I love the modpack, but one thing i dont like i'll try to change myself is the amount of Ammo you find, after one hour into it, i had at least 400x .38 Bullets, 200x 10mm and so on, thats not really survivalish, the NPC loot is way too high, should be easy to fix tho
I was exploring and was doing the metro quest and slept in a bed and it teleported me away. I was wondering if you knew which mod is adding in this and the creepy hallway scene with the opening doors? If you have any idea what I'm talking about lol. I was more confused because it was inside the metro area. I was watching someones playthrough and didnt see them find this. Maybe they just didnt see it or it was an update.

the only thing I dislike about the mod. Is that I cannot change the color of the flashlight. And distance visuals are a big blurry. And yes I've turned of DoF and blur completely. And still getting the same effects.

But your eyeball is better than camera. It has a massive level of zoom. Stare at the moon. Then take a camera out. Unless you have a telephoto lens the moon will be smaller on the photo than when you look at it. You don't experience a zoom animation because the way your brain processes it but you do zoom.
I installed this today and am not able to assign weapons to my quick select slots. The game is displaying properly on my 21:9 but the UI doesn't seem to fit. Being that your video is in 21:9, I'm assuming you know of a fix?

I know wabbajack modlists are your thing on this channel, but you said you never played Stalker, and that you like the survival mode in games like this, in which case I URGE you to try out Stalker Anomaly in your free time. Its the best way to experience STALKER in 2022 and its totally FREE. In fact, I'll give a reverse recommendation in regards to this video. If you like this mod list, then Stalker Anomaly is for you.
Additionally Anomaly even has a few mod packs after you finish it to add even more. Hands down the best survival shooter gameplay I have had ever. It makes me wish other games in the genre were even half as good.
After playing it for about twenty hours, I must say that this mod was promising, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it at all. There are numerous bugs, a horribly long installation process that practically forces you to subscribe to a very expensive Nexus Mod account, and the balancing is completely off. The slightest Radroach requires 20 shots to be killed, while almost all game enemies can easily one-shot you. Moreover, headshots are ridiculously overpowered. The visual modifications are nice, but you can't see a thing... Even in broad daylight, the flashlight must always be on. The radios are okay, but the number of tracks is dismal-I could only count 4 before they bugged and stopped working altogether, and I have no idea why. On the positive side, the introduced mechanics are interesting, but they are terribly unbalanced. Radiation can now kill you in 5 seconds, and using Radaway to heal takes 1 to 2 minutes of immobility. The ideas are there, but they are consistently poorly implemented and cumbersome to use. I think if this mod were in the alpha phase, it might be fine, but releasing it as it is now is a big mistake
Good video however, I don't think stalker fans would like this mod that much because it's still fallout 4. Stalker has it's own lore and vibe which people go to for that experience and there is a ton of modpacks for stalker. This is a great modpack for fallout 4 fans who enjoy a heavily modded experience but I would play Stalker Anomaly if you want a heavily modded stalker experience.

I'm so used to meh performance with Fallout 4 lists that this was a pleasant surprise
why tf would you want to play 120fps? dialogues are fucked when you play over 60fps

After playing it for about twenty hours, I must say that this mod was promising, but as it stands, I cannot recommend it at all. There are numerous bugs, a horribly long installation process that practically forces you to subscribe to a very expensive Nexus Mod account, and the balancing is completely off. The slightest Radroach requires 20 shots to be killed, while almost all game enemies can easily one-shot you. Moreover, headshots are ridiculously overpowered. The visual modifications are nice, but you can't see a thing... Even in broad daylight, the flashlight must always be on. The radios are okay, but the number of tracks is dismal-I could only count 4 before they bugged and stopped working altogether, and I have no idea why. On the positive side, the introduced mechanics are interesting, but they are terribly unbalanced. Radiation can now kill you in 5 seconds, and using Radaway to heal takes 1 to 2 minutes of immobility. The ideas are there, but they are consistently poorly implemented and cumbersome to use. I think if this mod were in the alpha phase, it might be fine, but releasing it as it is now is a big mistake
Good video however, I don't think stalker fans would like this mod that much because it's still fallout 4. Stalker has it's own lore and vibe which people go to for that experience and there is a ton of modpacks for stalker. This is a great modpack for fallout 4 fans who enjoy a heavily modded experience but I would play Stalker Anomaly if you want a heavily modded stalker experience.

Hello friend, I installed this Wabbajack mod pack and it's amazing, in your video you say that no textures were added in general, I have to download the Beteshda HD texture pack on steam, my question is, should I download it to improve the graphics of the game? game in general, or would it conflict with the installed mods and break my game?
