This one also showed off the capabilities of her new microphone, with a Carpenters connection. It’s a Neumann U87 (noy-man). A modern version of Karen’s primary mic at A&M. Tori certainly has a voice worthy of that legacy. There’s more on the way including a music video she shot in L.A. after the 55th, for Something To Believe In. The next cover with Jim is; Close To You. Most exciting is her first recording of her original song called “Years Gone By” which she gave to the two gentlemen who wrote “Christmas Again” to fine tune.
