    It's a Canadian brand that has their products manufactured in Pakistan. As long as the leather quality, cut and fit, and craftsmanship is high quality I dont have a prohlem with that.

    Amazing channel Fjorde, so informative and really inspiring. Had Redwing engineering boots for years now, got the 2966’s and enjoy wearing unique pieces to complement them. Love Master Supply Co and wanting to purchase “The Daytona” hard to get such quality designs in the Scotland. Keep up your amazing work and reviews, thanks 🙏.

    Master Supply jackets are designed in Canada but
    made in Pakistan for cheap labor.
    It’s half Canadian, half generic!!

    I don't think this is a Canadian Brand in the truest sense of the word. I don't look at products from Canadian Tire as being 'Canadian' just because of the store's location. If Master Supply co. is the best Canada has to offer the leather and denim scene that's nothing to be proud of. Himel Bros might be an example of a Canadian brand that sells Canadian made leather products with materials sourced from places that have ethic wages and work environments. Viapiana Custom Denim would be a good example of a Canadian denim that takes fabric and actually makes something.

      The video is titled "Canadian Brands you should know about"...Master is a "Canadian Brand". A Canadian company. Nowhere in the title or the content does it state that it sells all canadian product. Canadian Tire is a Canadian brand and a Canadian company. Don't see how you are confused.

    • @saltedracer18

      @@domnech You are right--- When it comes down to brass tacks Master is a Canadian brand and a Canadian company there's no disputing that. I dislike their ethos and the way they market themselves . Just my opinion--their gear is probably nice enough.

    • @domnech
      @domnech ปีที่แล้ว

      @@saltedracer18 Fair enough. I own 3 peices by them and have dealt with them quite a bit. Really nice guys who seem to care alot about their product. Just curious, but what don't you like about their ethos/marketing?

    • @saltedracer18
      @saltedracer18 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@domnech In the past I have found other brands at this price range that portray an image of efficacy, quality, and craftsmanship but when you look a little deeper that's not the case quite the opposite in fact. I may have sound harsher in my original comment than intended--I don't want to outright trash a brand I've never tried and if you own several pieces and have dealt with the company then I will def. defer to you on that front! I'm glad you had a good experience with them.

    • @domnech

      @@saltedracer18 Hmm...I guess we differ. I'm not really interested in a brands politics or marketing. I just enjoy quality product that fits great. I'm simple I guess. But I have owned some Master jackets for a couple of years now, and they have held up beautifully. Got better with age. But we are all different, and that's what makes the world turn. \m/

    Anybody having problems with their buttons on the Bluejay denim jacket? In less than a week I have three buttons that have popped out. The buttons seem very weak. Just curious to find out.

    All three and beautifully made and styled, just the pocket design puts me off, I'm a bit to Conservative in my taste.

      The pocket detail looks horrible. Reminds me of Jordache in the 70's. Yikes.

    I love your style but i would like to know, why you never wear Levis Jeans and Levis denim jackets?:-)). You have always Type 1 and 2 denim jackets by other great brands but never LVC:-)

      Because the jeans are mass produced, extremely light washed denim. They do a selvedge line, but not sure how good it is. I wear their shirts, and t-shirts. I'd never buy a pair of their jeans again after wearing everything from Bravestar and Nudie, to Ironheart, and Pure Blue Japan which are my latest pair. It's a totally different experience.
