Yes fs22 first crop after plowing doesn't have weeds. After that if just cultivated or direct planted there will be weeds.
The Game does this because ploughing takes a massive about of time and so doing that and weeds is only for extreme Role play and people with too much time on their hands.
Feels like one of the tractors ought to be sold. The JCB is great field loader for bales and such, but a small forklift would be great around the yard (and will help keeping bags of material organized). If there's anything left over, it would go toward the hay equipment.
I'm pretty sure that a farm this small won't usually have two big tractors.
agree , i real real life no farmer would have a jcb like that for so little work , when a small fork lift and tractor front loader would work better
I kinda feel like, because this is a game, sometimes realism mods makes things a bit unrealistic. For example the mod that let's you open and close the door. Normally getting In and out of a vehicle is generally understood as something you can do and generally speaking is something you don't really actively think about in the real world.. focusing on that act is kinda weird and unrealistic.

AND: Tired of waiting for your baler to unload? Get the Vicon or Kubota (they're the same price) FastBale! The fast bale is a piece of junk. Takes absolutely ages to get a field done

@@tinkerjar396 try it it , it is never stopped where as the normal baler has to stop and sometimes you have to back up , going forward slow will always beat fast and stopping

a note on crop destruction. planter (corn etc) plants in rows wide enough for row crop tyres to drive down no destruction. Seeder plants in narrow rows 4 inches or so (wheat etc). Seeder fields as seen in the UK generally have tram lines in the field as rows not wide enough even for row crop tyres. However fs22 allows narrow tyres to work in amy field.
I mentioned this recently, but one of the farmers down the road from me just used a similar set up to Dag and went around the headlands twice and baled the grass before cutting the rest of the field and letting it dry and baling the rest as hay today. It was so cool to see the game mimic real life and actually know what the farmer down the street was doing! 😊

I think the left swath feature of that trailed mower is meant to be used in conjunction with a front mounted mower on the tractor to create a single swath.
You need a small forklift or smaller telehandler for moving bags and pallets in and out of the sheds. The current telehandler is too big for the work
I feel like you should sell the JCB and get a small fork lift. The JCB is to big for that small of a farm. Just my thought. Love the videos. Keep it up but remember to keep yourself up to.
Sell the young rams as fat lambs, irl they would have a couple of things removed to stop them being rams and would be called wethers
You need to do center swath on the first pass and then use left swath to lay the next pass on top of the center swathed pass.
Daggerwin you should make this fair head series multiplayler with chainsaw100 and you should only be able to talk to each other when your fs characters are next to each other pls like this comment because this would make this series 1,000x in my opinion
HI Daggerwin, A Good pace to store the flatbed trailer is behind the shed with the spereader in it, there is a dirt pad that you can drive through. Love the videos
Dag , the middle is called 'the passageway' or feed passage
People have told you this may times now it's up to 45 Ewes to 1 Ram. Young Rams sold at 5 months. If you had 70+ Ewes than you would need 2 Rams. In real life Rams will fight to the death if the numbers are wrong but in FS all the sheep will just drop in health to the pint they cannot be sold.
Need an abattoir mod so we can make lamb roasts from the Rams, and wool from the ewes. Because ‘Realism’.

Your spreader cover has the electric or hydraulic boom arm on it, you'd open and close it from within the cab. I've driven many semi-final dump trailers with the electric tarp covers.

I recommend you house realistic seeder it makes the game more fun for me and also realistic because you have to buy the specific seeds ie. Conalo seeds for example of you wanna plant canola

When mowing, go clockwise next the hedge first, then swath it in clockwise the next lap out then you should open up enough headland to do the lengths, swathing every second one

There's a small patch of unused grassy land behind the sheep barn. Maybe you could put a small chicken coop there or even a beehive!
It is funny that you have played the game for so many hours and still do not know about weeds not coming after ploughing! Loving this series, I'm doing something very similar on Hof Bergmann right now. I think I am around 24 hours into a save and just got to April of the second year.

alleyway is what my gramps called it on his farm. it was a nursery for calves.
When you plow the fields the weeds won't appear as the weed seeds are buried. If you cultivate or direct drill the weeds will grow.
There is a mod to be able to manually open covers for pretty much all machines with one on modhub

Could you fill the hole with field stone then level of off with a bucket on a front end loader ? The stone has collision so you’d be able to drive on it. Also want to say love all the different series’. One man’s opinion on this series would be to lose the FPV rule. I understand why you have it but I think there’s a lot of fun in seeing the equipment working. Just me thoughts on it . Not that you asked LOL.

use the herdsman stick for an animal trailer, but you actually have to walk the whole way to the animal seller.
You almost forgot the jcb was a telehandler at first. When the bags fought back, it looked like you were trying to reach without extending. 😂

Yes you do shear the rams for wool, we sell our rams after cutting the dangling parts off for money but I don't think you can cut them off in FS

14:03 Technically 3rd person view doing this wouldn't be unrealistic either since many farmers use drones to view from above to see what they are doing.
21:20 the paint and terraform anywhere mod should help with that if you don't already have it installed

How to use the mower:
U drive one direction, start with a center swath, then drive over the swath with left swath mode on. U will then throw your grass over to the previous cut swath.

Sell all but one of the new rams to replace the old one and keep all the girls except the oldest ones when your full

The reason why the mapper put the ferti bags where they are is because you don’t need anything as big as the jcb for bale/pallet handling need to change that jcb out
With itc you open the door but you should also start the tractor using the key if possible

I've noticed that the telehandler has no number plates so if you are doing realistic. Would that be allowed on uk highways?

You mow without the left swath on clockwise first round. Left swath on 2 round and still clockwise. You never change direction. Just left swath ever other round

You may want to checkout out the Haybab by 4D. Not sure how realistic it is, but it'll ted a swath.
In game i ussualy make only silage bales and then use that money to buy hay bales. Much cheaper that way. No special equipment needed

They need to add a way to only be able to do certain crops depending on where you are in the map world
If im not mistaken there is a mod that lets you landscape and place anywhere, use that to let yourself level out the yard.
Mowing…. Go round the field the opposite way on center swath then the next pass on left swath to put it on top… repeat…
He may say it later in video,but I'm pretty sure when you plow instead of cultivate you eliminate the seeds for that season. I could be wrong.

At 27.00 you should do the first round with normal swath, then the second round with the left swath putting the swath on top of the first one. Then on the third round normal swath again, and fourth left swath and so on. Not that difficult and saves time.
In field 9 there is a way into field 55
It’s been a couple of episodes since you plowed, and I don’t know when you’ll do it again, but create fields should always be on. That would be more realistic.
